Delray String Quartet Reviews

excellent music, played beautifully in an intimate, comfortable room with great sound.

As always the quality of the music by the quartet was excellent. However, there needs to be better clarity. Clearly the order was reversed in the pieces played but it was not stated. Secondly, when the musicians explain, they need to use a microphone. The same when indicating a special dedicating piece. It is an older audience and hearing issues abound.

 Outstanding performance!!!

Thanks to Linda I was finally able to get to the ticket buying page.

Enjoyed every minute of these brilliant musicians and the wonderful music they selected. Thank you for the delightful evening.

This was my first time to experience the DSQ in concert. Despite an accident-caused delay on I-95, I still made it (barely) on time. I was relieved to find an open space in the parking lot. The setting for the concert was beautiful and all the people I encountered were very pleasant and helpful. The person introducing the musicians and the music to be played did a great job describing each piece, which added to my enjoyment of the concert.

 Spectacular performance

Unusually interesting and informative. Loved this combo of many smaller pieces.

Also liked the after concert reception.our only suggestion is cookies!

It was a true delight, with the introductions given by two of the. musicians to Hayden and Mendelssohn enabling us to understand the context and follow each movement in the quartet with deep emotion and connection- a memorable experience!

As before, I enjoyed the concert immensely. I am so grateful to be able to have the opportunity to hear such beautiful music presented in a lovely venue by such amazingly talented musicians.

My son & I enjoyed the concert. The concert was excellent and it made my mother's day extra special!

 Beautiful space & extraordinary musicians

The music was wonderful. I happened to be sitting next to squirmy little girls. But, I think the pianist was their teacher or something. The pianist was awesome.

Great music, excellent players, lovely seating. A briefer music history lesson would be enough.

Loved seeing the musicians up close.

Have always enjoyed the group, and thought it was a special evening

It was a delight! Also we appreciated the introduction to each piece, which enable us to understand the composer and context in ways that were significant

I enjoyed the event immensely. The music was beautiful, and I left feeling uplifted and physically and emotionally at peace. I'm looking forward to the next concert.
