DENTON VARIETY CLUB Reviews

Brilliant fun as always highly recommend

Excellent performance all round. So many brilliant parts played. Special mention must be made of Beth for standing in at last minute to take on the Princess role which she did magnificently. Also must huge congratulations to the sound and Special effects people. A fantastic performance once again.

I think the club is a wonderful venue for the village. Everyone is very lucky to have such a lovely facility. I really enjoyed our visit and catching up with old friends.

Such a fantastic evening and everyone was so friendly and up for a good laugh.

Fun as ever with engaging cast and script. Plenty of audience participation too! Thank you for a lovely evening

Another excellent performance by the DVC. A little different to what we are used to, but still very enjoyable.

Such a good fun all inclusive event for the family! Plenty of surprise characters to draw gasps from the audience.

Outstanding - we had a blast and everyone did a great job!!

This production was just hilarious!! 🤣 The whole family enjoyed it!!

It was absolutely brilliant ,we have not enjoyed an evening so much for years, haven't laughed that much for a long time ,we are still talking about it this morning and laughing .A great job done by everyone..

Loved it,great cast, great music, lots of laughter

Excellent, funny and a wonderful community spirit xx Well done to all involved 👍

 Great. Funny. Loved it

Very inclusive, great fun, good music, well performed, thank you for a happy and enjoyable evening.

Great show, a lot of hard work went into it. Most entertaining and enjoyable.

We enjoyed the inventive use of costumes and makeup to enhance the excitement of the story…..the droids were particularly good and stayed perfectly in part throughout. The heroine looked the part and was brave! But the surprise actor was Smock. Who perfectly looked the part and was excellent throughout. The villain was suitably evil sounding , inspite of his handicap with his mask, and Chewbacca got the crowd on side with his growl! The music was just right and very much

A really wonderful evening, it was so well put together and so effective. Highlights were definitely the costumes, Snotty, and the Droids. But everyone shone last night! It’s a very special atmosphere and lovely to see all ages together- having fun and being a part of achieving a great show. Congratulations DVC

 Brilliant really enjoyed it

A great evening’s entertainment, a right good laugh!

For an amateur production involving such a large number of villagers it was outstanding and hugely enjoyable

It was easy to book on line, Pantomime was great fun. We enjoyed the bottle of wine at an exceptionally reasonable price. We look forward to next year.
