They're very nice and I think it was beautiful that they set up this event.

My only comment is that I thought the moderator could have been better. Questions were good but voice and projection were a problem for me . Missed a lot because of that

This is my first event attending, and I didn't feel it was organized in a good enough way. That said, the AV was good.

All events are great with Chabad. No complaint there! Parking was a disaster people were blocking each other and couldn’t get into the lot ended up parking in the plaza next-door. There should’ve been parking attendants. The security at the front door was very disorganized. A lot of us had to wait outside in the cold. There should’ve been two doors open and people checking it was just a disarray.

Hearing Eli speak last night was transformative. Rabbi Levy asked just the right amount of personal questions and let Eli do all the talking which I appreciated. To be honest the venue, although it was a good size had very poor organization in terms of parking and the chairs were very narrow just a little after impression that thought I would mention.

What an incredibly well organized event - Yasher Koach to everyone involved in this evening. To have things run so smoothly with over 2,000 people attending is an amazing feat! Well planned, well executed, so meaningful. Today Rabah!!

Sold way too many tickets!!. Crammed us in there like an airport. Difficult to see speaker. Better to have kept tickets to audience of 500 Wish Eli read some excerpts from his book

congratulations for all of the hard work and it paid off. A few things to consider. I bought a $250 ticket and when my ticket arrived it was for a $54 purchase. After 2 calls and an email it was corrected. For that I say thank you. I would consider a better ticketing system

I was very grateful for the opportunity to volunteer and secure a ticket to the event. That said, I was assigned to facilitate parking, and it became very clear that no thought was given to the number of parking places relative to invitees, the number of people asked to volunteer to help with the parking, no mention of what to do with overflow and where to send them, and no leadership for the parking volunteers. At one stage I was alone in the lot, (see below)

The event was great. My only complaint was that we were squeezed in together like sardines. Regardless, it was an incredible, unforgettable night. What a lovely night. I loved it all especially the signing of the Torah! I’m very grateful I got to attend!

This event was really poorly executed. It was way too crowded, and making your patrons wait in lines outside in -12 weather was ridiculous, especially given the loads of room in the foyers to facilitate check-in.

There was no parking and not enough seats. We needed to park very far and when the temperature feels like -22, it's not nice to walk outside for 10 minutes and then stand in line for 25 minutes outside for the tickets to be checked. We stood outside with people in their 90's! It was poorly organized, with no consideration to traffic, weather, parking and elderly people. The event was shorter than the time we spent for looking for parking and until getting in the venue.

Amazing turnout. Emotional to hear the difficult experience that Eli Sharabi and all other captives had to endure. It is important that the truth be revealed. Thank you for sponsoring these events.

We waited 40 min outside in the freezing wind! There was no parking around I had to park on a near plaza.i arrived at 7:00 to avoid all of this. The security check was ridiculous . No one checked ID or bags or coats. Very easily a terror attack could have been made. Thank God nothing happened. The event was only 40 min long. Eli sharabi spoke for only 30 min. How this is possible? I paid $54 for this? He is a wonderful man and I’m sure he had so much more to say .

How did you like the event?

I am so glad I got to attend and feel it was important to support Eli. I did think the event was a bit of a mess to be honest. Perhaps I'll prepared for the 2000ppl...not enough parking onsite and having all attendees stand in a snake line in the freezing cold for a half hour did not make any sense - though I can appreciate the attempt to have the event as secure as possible. It was so chaotic. On top of it, it was pretty hard to hear- and I am 37 and have excellent hearing

The event was great only issue was the Rabbi's voice trailed off a few times so we could not hear what he asked or stated at time except for the odd word.

How did you like the event?

Your security was flawed. You should check peoples IDs and tickets at the gate when they drive in. Its too late to do it when you already have a crowd of Jews in one place. Basic logic would have served well here. moderator was often muffled. tough questions not asked. It should have made us uncomfortable hearing his stories, because living in a tunnel is horrific. Venue not right. Seating too tight. Water not available.

How did you like the event?

Incredibly moving. My husband and I attended with another couple from Tillsonburg, none of us are Jewish, but we prayed for the release of the hostages after Oct. 7 and keep praying for healing, for Israel, and for the Jewish community in Canada. Absolutely worth attending. The only thing that may’ve made it better is if we could have sung the Hatikvah at the end. Either way, thank you for organizing, bringing Eli so close to us, and an amazing event. Just finished the book!

How did you like the event?

The organization of parking and entering the venue was very difficult and resulted in people having to line up outside in very difficult weather, and getting into the event late as a result of that. The talk started, although people were late, not their fault, and that was frustrating. It also seemed like the venue was not big enough to contain everyone who bought a ticket. I would also prefer to have saved and numbered seats to accommodate a more organized sitting.

How did you like the event?

Ben Mulroney was great as usual. Eli Sharabi is it true inspiration to all amazing story and of course, I read the book. The rabbi doing them moderation asking the questions did a good job. However, at times he spoke very low and it was very hard to hear. The sound should’ve been louder in that room.. Overall I did enjoy the event. It wasn’t too long or too short just right.

How did you like the event?

I must comment on the venue and the parking. The main parking area was full and even though we had a handicap sticker we were not allowed in and had to park quite far away in the shopping plaza. We ended up walking on icy sidewalks along Highway 27 and braved the extreme cold. There should have been a shuttle bus or help getting people to the venue. Security was not efficient and I was able to walk right in without even showing my ticket ! Eli Sharabi is a true hero

How did you like the event?

The rabbi was a terrific interviewer. He kept the focus on the guest and was otherwise very humble. The use of two different cameras was very effective in enabling all those in the audience to see the guest very well. Offering snacks to all attendees was brilliant considering the timing of the event. Having Ben Mulroney act as emcee was a great choice --- so nice to see that family supporting Jews and Israel.

How did you like the event?

not a good venue. Parking was a nightmare, entering the venue in the bitter cold was a nightmare. Location too far(30min commute). Should have been done at- The BAYT or City PlayHouse Theater

How did you like the event?

To offer some feedback I would say that The location was out of the way especially during rush hour and the event was just too large and made parking difficult. That’s said I appreciate it was open to 2k people and the community was offered wide access to the event. I guess that that’s a balancing act if he was not willing to stay for 2 nights Well done all around though!

How did you like the event?

Because the event was out of Toronto ans up in Vaughan I did not attend as it was too far to drive on the highway ( which I do not do) at night. I called Chabad and told them I was not attending and to give my tickets to someone else.

How did you like the event?

cars had formed a long line from the street to the back and there was no one to contact to control the entrance of cars from the street while I was trying to get people to turn around and exit the lot. There was no reserved spaces for disabled people either to discharge or park. It was bitterly cold, not enough relief, and soon the plaza next door was full as well. It was not pleasant and many were angry. Parking must be organized with strategy and implemented appropriately.

How did you like the event?

Wow - Eli is amazing! It was such an honour to be a part of the event. As a hearing aid user, I wish the microphone volume was louder. I also would have appreciated live captions on the big screens. It would have improved accessibility.
