VIP & Tent City Space Reservations Reviews

 amazing I go every year

Very disappointed. Absolutely no provisions in VIP area to deal with rain. No plans to attend future events ....

 I enjoyed the lineup.

 Except the rain

Always a great tine at the GHFJ.

 Awesome as usual.

The VIP organization was run very smoothly. From the parking, the cart ride to the concert, the gift bag, the seats setup, the wine, the snack and most of the umbrella was great!

 Great time had by all!

 We had an AMAZING TIME!

Its always a great time at the jazz festival-even the rain dampened us but not our spirits!

I would get five out of five stars, but I had to give four because of the whole muddy situation after the rain. It was just virtually impossible to leave out of the entrance because of all the mud from the rain they should’ve been something in place just in case something like this happened, all the experience was wonderful

 Great time. Awesome Jazz.

The process of purchasing my tent ticket was streamlined and convenient.

Way too much time between performances

It was a long walk to get out of the VIP area Suggest you have exit, entry points just behind the VIP area. The instructions for the parking location was not clear. I arrived at the capitol building and was told I needed to go to the LOB. Those little umbrellas did not provide whole body sun protection.

this was my first year doing this. it was amazing I'll be doing it again!

Same as last year, it was so easy to park, and the golf cart ride from and to the LOB is such a treat!! The clean, air-conditioned bathrooms are wonderful. And the bathroom truck was parked in a good spot so it didn't interfere with the viewing from outside the VIP area. So glad you gave us rain ponchos in our goody bag! Even though I enjoy the VIP seating and have recommended it to friends, is it worth the effort for you? Do you charge enough to cover the cost?

Nice, even though the main act was scrubbed

Very disappointed. Absolutely no provisions in VIP area to deal with rain. A better selection of performers is needed. Not worth flying from out of state to attend this event ...

I would like a refund. The fest was rained out!

FANtastic! The ENTIRE experience was EXCELLENT! Every volunteer/staff was VERY pleasant, supportive, friendly, and offered the BEST service - the garage attendant, cart drivers, welcoming tent, food and beverage tent, security supervisor and his staff, and a perfectly clean restroom AKA EVERYONE was wonderful! The music & video production was EXCELLENT! GHFJ Big Band w Alexa Tarantino & guests were FANtastic! FAVORITE! ENCORE! Enjoyed Coltrane ensemble too! THANK YOU!

 Lori very helpful

We arrived late so I was really looking forward to a parking spot at the Capitol. But that was full, grrr. It was great to have seats waiting for us. I didn't realize we'd be offered sandwiches. Did that mean less business for your food truck vendors? It was odd to be in a gated community - sort of the opposite of what we like about Jazz in the park. But once we were settled in, we got used to being VIPs very quickly.

Parking was a breeze. Very convenient to site I appreciate transportation from garage

Still love the idea of tent city, however; at some point no other tents were allowed on the grounds and the idea of tent city came about. For the past two years, the view wasn't optimal due to the confined space. Other tents blocked view of the screen and of course, we paid and there were countless other tents on the grounds with better views who paid nothing. I wish I had other ideas, but I will not purchase a spot next year.

I’m giving it a 4 rather than 3 because of the LOB parking garage attendant. He was kind, personable and amazing. The people at the walkway to the event from the garage at both points were rude and had the potential to ruin your experience if you let them spoil your mood. They were brash and uninviting. I strongly suggest hiring better employees to avoid future issues . That was very very disappointing.

 Will attend again.

Wow! FANtastic! The ENTIRE experience was EXCELLENT! Every volunteer/staff was VERY pleasant, supportive, friendly, and offered the BEST service - the garage attendant, cart drivers, welcoming tent, food and beverage tent, the lovely and supportive ushers, security at the gates, the staff that maintained a perfectly clean restroom AKA EVERYONE was wonderful! The music program, production & video was FANtastic AKA EXCELLENT! THANK YOU!

It was nice to know that there would be a parking space for us. There's always such a crowd at GHFJ. We enjoyed the sandwiches, but I did go out to get ice cream and meet up with friends. Clean bathrooms with no line = Yay!

Just couldn't stay for the whole event as I had to drive home 2 hours so I didn't get a chance to see pieces of Dreams wish it started sooner at 12:00 noon ended about 8:00 that would be perfect for people

The lady who was in charge of letting people in the tent was very very rude. I don’t like how my family and I were treated so we may not be getting a tented area next year.

The music and vibes were unmatched! Everyone was so nice and accommodating! This was our first year but definitely WONT be our last!

Parking was great. The rides were awesome but the rides back to the space stopped at some point and we had to lug our stuff back up the hill because there were no rides.

Nice to have them close by.

The attendant up at the capital, but it was very rude when we went to go park. He was like there’s no parking included in the purchase blah blah blah. It took me to show my handicap sticker for him to allow us to park there and even after that he was just like stupid ass people. He was very rude.

Once again turned away from the Capitol parking - was told it was only for handicapped. I must have misunderstood your info about parking. I'm sorry there were not more people in VIP seating! Maybe better to skip it next year and just ask the people who did buy tickets to make a donation next year? By the way, I loved the sight of everyone with their lights on. There were a lot of people, and a lot of lights!
