In March, we will cover a different Renaissance artist each week. Class will include a short reading with history about the artist and project. In true Renaissance fashion, we will focus on slowing down to pick out details and discuss proportions in relation to drawing and painting.
(March 7)Michelangelo: Experiment! Painting the Cistine Chapel will focus on how to draw people with a fun twist of trying out painting above your head!
(March 14)Leonardo Da Vinci: Investigate! This week we will have a few simple machines to take apart. We'll investigate and draw pictures of our findings.
