jacksons theatre Reviews

What an incredible theatre! The owner, bartenders, servers, etc. were outstanding. A true hidden TX gem!

Jackson and his staff were extremely kind and attentive, they made sure we had everything we needed and offered to show us our seats and bring out our food and drinks to the theatre.

History brought back to life!! The staff is always amazing and the cocktails are strong and delicious! If you are looking for a feel good, high energy night out, Jackson’s Theater is your place!

Jackson’s Cozy Theatre did not disappoint. They listen to their customers feedback from a previous experience and stepped it up 100%! Show and staff were amazing!!!!

 So much fun!

We really enjoyed the venue. Great seats and plenty of leg room. The enthusiastic audience made it even more enjoyable. Look forward to more great shows.

I always enjoy the Jackson. It is a little theatre with a big burst of entertainment, great food and community connections. Way to go Gladewater!

Welcoming and fun with great entertainment!

Loved the vibe and aesthetic of this theatre, the staff were very friendly and accommodating for my friend that was in a wheelchair

Had a BLAST watching Darrin Knight!

The atmosphere was wonderful and the staff was great!

What an amazing job Jack has done! We found a true gem tonight!

It was fun. We were able to park almost at the front door. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The host was a hoot! We’ll be watching for another show so we can visit again.

Absolutely loved the show with John Berry. So relaxed, included his family, and he can still sing beautifully!! The theater is a fun intimate place to watch a show like this. Drinks, food, and comfortable chairs.! Great job Jackson’s !

4 vs 5 stars because; Our VIP m&g tickets had start time online of 6:30. Upon arriving there about 6:15 thankfully one of the staff realized we were there for m&g said they had already started and hurried us on in. Looked like most everyone else knew it started earlier except possibly a few other couples who came in after us. Turned out just fine. A loud woman with a few men at the bar was ruining the experience for a lot of us. Owner tried to quite them but they continued.

LOVED it! Kyle needs to hit the road and go on tour.

Kyle is a delight. He’s a talented young man with a lot of promise. His act was heartfelt at moments and hilarious at others. The comedian for his intermission show was also very entertaining. We had a fantastic night and would definitely come again.

 Amazing

 Loved Jaks performance Saturday NIght

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ What a great night at Jackson’s Theatre! The Elvis show was absolutely fantastic—great music, amazing energy, and so much fun. 🎶🕺 We’re so lucky to have this kind of entertainment right here in Gladewater. If you haven’t been to a show at Jackson’s yet, you’re missing out! ❤️

Jackson Folton does not fail in his talent and showmanship! He puts on an amazing show that makes you want it to never end. If you haven’t seen one of his performances GO, you won’t regret it.

 Loved Neil Diamond experience

 TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 Great music; very entertaining.

Such an amazing event. Jackson is so talented and the music was so fun!! Thanks for an amazing night!

 Loved it!

The show was fantastic, beyond expectation! Will definitely continue to come support Jack and all he is doing to support our east TX communities. Thank you and you put on one hell of a show!!

Please do not post this - I do not want to discourage future patrons. Jackson's Theatre is a fabulous addition to Gladewater's entertainment industry and its downtown charm. The venue is great, the service/staff are exceptional, Saturday's band was fabulous.... but the vocals were lacking. One mic was turned down and you could hardly hear the vocalist. Singers appeared uneasy/unfamilar with the lyrics, The trumpet player was the exception and should have been lead vocalist.

The show did not disappoint, I enjoyed every thing of it and laughed so hardy abdominal muscles are sore!

 Absolutely perfect, loved Darren!

 Darren had us all cackling!

Omg better than what I thought I loved Nicole and Darren. They are my kind of folks

I needed this night so bad! 100% amazing experience from start to finish! Thank you to Darren, Nicole, Jack and the AMAZING STAFF!!

LOVE John Berry! And the theatre is absolutely beautiful! And the food and drinks are perfection! Going to Jackson's Cozy Theatre in Gladewater, TX, is more than going to a theatre. It's a whole huge bundle of FUN and entertainment. I highly recommend going to www.JacksonsTheatre.com - and get tickets to next upcoming performances. It's every weekend, and the lounge within is the place to consume the most delicious food and drinks.

 Great experience

John always puts on a great show!

We loved it and will be back soon!

 Great show

John Berry’s show was outstanding. Family members were an added treat. Will definitely attend his performance again when in the area. The sound in the theater was great. Thank you, Jackson Theater and sponsor for presenting him.

Had a great time as always, John Berry is fantastic, we always enjoy seeing him and coming to Jackson's theater.

I’ve loved listening to John Berry since I was a young girl and being able to sit and chat with him was truly a dream! Thank you from the 90’s teenage girl!

Great Sound, great seating, great lighting and John Berry was fabulous! John was able to hit the strings of our hearts in 90s and continues too do in 2026. Seeing John and having him sing those beautiful songs, was the best Valentine's Day ever!!!!

Preferred he sticks with his more popular songs and less of other songs.

Strong and powerful performance by Jerry. Definitely a go see it again event and wish I had gone both nights. What a talent!

Jerry Wayne is a master at humorous tales of life! Everyone can relate to these situations, he just has a unique story telling ability, matched by few in the comedic world. JW doesn't call anyone or group out, stays away from politics, and is just a down home good old boy! Was an intimate setting and fun evening. Would highly recommend folks in the Pine Curtain, check him out tonight. While doing so enjoy a delicious cocktail 🍸 and some tasty food. Theater staff is great!

He is Elvis 100% AND brings his own flair! We’ll be back for the next one

I had never been to see an Elvis impersonator except at the Yamboree on an open-air stage, but I was amazed by Jack's vocal talent, his energy, stamina and ability to remember every single word of every single song! He was playful with the audience as well as the band. I was expecting him to stay in character as Elvis instead of going back and forth as Jack, but that was just me. I don't know what most impersonators do, so didn't really know what to expect. Very good!

IMPRESSIVE!! I am not just a fan but a connoisseur of anything ELVIS. I expected average at best but man oh man was I in for a treat!! The show was fantastic! The songs choices were outstanding! The King Creole Band was out of this world awesome! But Jack was the most impressive of all. The stamina & energy exuded was stellar! I was astounding over and over again! Elvis WAS IN THE BUILDING!!! I loved this and am so glad I went!!! I will go again!

I've been to about a dozen events at Jackson's and enjoyed every one of them.
