Nile Valley Aquaponics and Kansas City Aquaponics come together in the spirit of Ujima, to discuss intermediate and advanced techniques of aquaponics as well as the benefits of growing using fish waste. We are putting this workshop together for anyone who currently has a medium system, is considering making the system that they have bigger, or has a large system that they need help with or/and would like to share their suggestions, wins and/or losses. We will also talk about breeding fish in your residential system complete with a live demo of a live breeding tank. Dre Taylor will give an update onThe Nile Valley Project located at 29th and Wabash and share news about progress and the grand opening. We will end with a tour of "Small Valley Farms" our indoor Aquaponic/Hydroponic Farm, and a Q&A discussion about our partnership with the East High School and other partnerships that we are forming to help reboot the much needed agriculture program at East High School. Light refreshments provided.
