Logan Theater, Inc Reviews

The theater is amazing and we are so lucky to have it in our community!

Kind people, cheap, ultimately a fabulous experience. They were understanding of a lady that had nasal issues due to a customer in the audience having extreme perfume, and moved her to a different open seat. Lovely venue.

The theater is absolutely stunning. Wonderful experience.

Bathroom location is in the basement but stairs to it are not clearly indicated. The elevator use took quite a while. And line for the concession stand was not clearly indicated.

Tickets were easy to purchase. We added another member to our party and had to exchange our tickets for more seating, it was a breeze.

We are so happy to see Logan Theater back. The theater is absolutely stunning! Thank you to everyone for their hardwork and dedication to restoring the theater.

 Lovely Theater! Easy Parking!

 Great experience!

The theater is beautiful, and so glad it's been restored! My only concern is with the seats on the side sections going all the way to the way and clear to the back. This is dangerous - there's no way to leave those sections except to go towards the middle aisles. If there was a fire, there's no way to exit quickly. The last seat in each section next to the walls and the back row or two in the side sections need to be removed.

What a beautiful theater! The renovations are just beautiful! The acoustics and sound system are also great for live performances. My only issue: when a live orchestra is performing please don’t sell seats in row D left. The stage view is partially blocked and the row housed musicians’ cases. It marred seeing the performance of The Last Canal Boat. HOWEVER - the remainder of my experiences with the theater, staff, and volunteers was A+ (saw the play all 3 nights…)!

Beautiful restoration in the theater. Brought back wonderful memories!

The Logan Theater is beautiful & is a great asset to our community.

It was my first time back in the renovated theatre since my teenage years. It is beautiful!

 Fantastic venue!

Beautiful remodel ! So happy to be back in the theater!! Thank you to all who made it happen

The Last Canal Boat was a wonderful show full of talented people!

Gloriously heartwarming and a perfect amount of cheesy at the end. Good script, musical segments, etc. Good local theater productions are hard to come by, and this was certainly one of them. Here's hoping they'll bring it to Nelsonville for Stuart's Opera House. Humorous segments, a fabulous understanding of the historical basis, etc.

This was such a well done production. I was delighted and impressed. you could hear every word. I loved the enthusiasm of the cast. It was soo much fun! Congratulations one and all.

Very enjoyable. The live orchestra and professionalism of the actors was spellbinding. The short introduction of the characters by the author at the entrance was also very welcomed.

This show was just wonderful. Everyone did an exceptional job, their performance showed just how hard they worked. I'm excited for future performances at the theater.

Absolutely loved the play, the music was amazing as well! I would definitely recommend to everybody!

Kudos to Director Rita Greco Preston, Musical Director David Tadlock, their cast & crew! Kudos to the Logan Community for their support as they had three Sold Out shows! Original play and music by Jeff & Kathy Crisler underscored a lively, sweet and educational story with voices matching the tone. A great Premiere for a lovely renovated theater!

 Great experience!

 It was fantastic!

What a wonderful musical! Staging, lighting, sound, and acoustics were great. The authors are to be highly commended for bringing the canal history in Hocking County to life. The cast did an outstanding job - the level of talent blew me away. I saw all three performances. Congratulations to all!

 Amazing show!!

 What a great show for

The story, the music, the cast!! All phenomenal! Well written and very well played! I highly recommend it.

Only problem at all was not the fault of the theaters. Someone wore strong perfume that I found very overpowering. Left my seat during intermission & found an empty in the back. I most likely would have had to leave if there’d not been a couple empty ones. The show was soooooo great! 👍

This event was great. The actor's were very good, the singing, dancing were amazing

The table settings were elegant. The food was tasty. The wines were delicious. Sound and conversation were issues for me. Thank you I had a great time. Rita Preston

It was great seeing an all-time classic with my family. I grew up with The Goonies, but I never saw it in the theater, so this was really nostalgic and a fun experience.

Love the idea of playing old movies and The Goonies was a great choice

Great movie! Love they are playing classics! Cool to get to watch it in the original theater!

Great choice of movie for this Labor Day weekend!

 movie was great

We had a blast and probably one if not my favorite so far. We went to all the Saturday night movies and this one was by far the best crowd we have seen. Everyone got into and was loving it. THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART. By the way, we are definitely going to miss our Saturday evenings with you all. 💚

I arrived 1/2 hour late due to work. They told me the show started late. All good. Venue will do well with these kind of shows and other entertainment.

Trey and Angela were both superb! I hope they do another performance at the theater in the future.

Great music. Fun time. Ticket price good.

We all had a fantastic time.

 Fun show!

We had a great time. My 13 year old even enjoyed this movie.

Was a great movie on the big screen. The sound quality and the bass was GREAT!

The best of all the Indiana Jones movies. It was wonderful seeing it on a big screen again.

This was definitely a great movie to take the family too. Everyone enjoyed it. 💚

I have seen BTTF more times than years I have been alive. It is and will always be one of my absolute favorite movies. Seeing it on a big screen again was great, especially in a newly renovated theater I went to as a kid.

My only advice would be if the screen could be raised 1-2 feet, no matter where we sat below you could see the persons head in front of you on the bottom 2 feet worth of screen. But we had a great time, I'm happy as a single parent I could afford to take my kids! The prices for the concession stand were also affordable, but number one, all the employees and volunteers were amazing, everyone was kind and we enjoyed our evening! Thank you all for a great experience!

It was wonderful going back in time and to see the first movie shown there in a very long time.

 Great evening!

Great facility with reasonable prices on tickets and concessions!

It was a great date night with my hubby and close friends

Great movie, fresh popcorn, friendly people....what more can one expect
