Northwoods Community Church Reviews

   Wonderful night. We left, so appreciative of Northwoods for inviting us to enjoy the performances, organizing a great plan for entering (one person in our group uses a cane and was well taken care of), having helpful and kind volunteers and giving us an armament!!

   Staff was very friendly and welcoming, drinks were great and the show was phenomenal!

    Good. Lovely. Friendly staff. Only negative was that the volunteers were talking in the halls during the Pastor's talk which was distracting.

   It was WONDERFUL! It was my 1st time attending, and I do plan on attending a Sunday service. Thanks for the experience!

   All the attendants were welcoming and friendly.

     Most Amazing production. Cousin, n his wife attended, n their eyes n hearts are open to visit again. 😊🤗😊. It was such fun for all.

     Once again this was a highlight of our season! Not only was the production a moving experience, the staff that took care of us and my brother using a walker was treated like a king! Thank you all so much and may God bless you!

         Loved the Bethlehem part and the live animals. Too many Santa /secular songs. Some of the moves seemed not appropriate for the setting-like girls shaking their shoulders in a "shimmy" move which ended up shaking other body parts, not fitting for a church setting. Also the girls on ropes should have had more like shorts under their skirts so that when they flipped upside down they were showing underwear. Those things were distracting. Bethlehem was the be

   The event was good - we had our 11 grandkids and parents attend with us and they were very engaged for the whole program. Thank you for sharing the gospel which is the most important of this season. May your church be blessed as you continue to serve our Savior..

   An awe inspiring production! Sensory overload!!

   This was our first time coming and it was very entertaining

   Wonderful production that is always quite impressive! Loved the nativity scene!

   This is discouraging. How are so many seats saved before the doors open? It is also a bit misleading when you send a video out reminding us that seats are first come first serve. A suggestion might be that you continue to allow seats saved ahead of time, don't let the crowds thru the door where all the reserved seats are. Thank you!

  I debated on bringing my family again this year and regret it because last years inclusion of the world(Santa/secular music). I am disappointed that nearly half of the show was secular Christmas songs revolving around Santa. There are so many wholesome, biblical songs that could have been used instead of loving the world. 1 John 2:15 While the true Christmas story interpretation was beautiful, sharing the CHURCH stage with Santa creates confusion in the hearts of children.

   Stellar! Every year this event is amazing. Everyone wais very welcoming.

   This event is at the top of the charts for sure. It helped me to see, and I’m sure others as well, that God is not just a baby in the manger but a God who is alive and in everything. A God who wants the best for us all. Thank you Northwoods for portraying who God is. Love you all, Yvonne

   I felt like it was too much dancing focused and not as spiritual. It seems that the few times it almost got moving, that it turned back to being over the top busy. I listen to hours of Christmas music every week and probably have 300 songs on my playlist and I barely knew any of the few Christian songs. Drummer boy was excellent. Noticed it was very “white” this year. Not much people of color were on stage. Two years ago seemed much more diverse. Not trying to

   Our family really enjoyed the show. The cast did a great job. For me personally the real stars of the show were the production team, Wow! The coordination between the dancers singers acrobats animals musicians props stage crew house managers and technical crew not to mention writing the production. Incredible, what a gift.

   I enjoyed the Christmas performance very much. I have attended several times. My friend seemed to expected more of a service, but was amazed with the technology and participants. This was her first time attending. I bought earplugs because the music is usually much too loud for me; however, I didn’t need them. I pray the message touched hearts, especially those who need to know the Savior, Jesus Christ. What an opportunity to spread the gospel.

     Spectacular. So much talent in this church! Truly an enjoyable evening. Can't get enough of it.

   We absolutely loved the production! We were amazed by the talent of all of the cast, crew, and musicians! This was our first time at Northwoods for a Christmas production and we will be making this an annual tradition!

   Supendous again!!! I hope you don't mind me coming so much! But I get such delight and joy.  

     The production is great! However not having assigned seats is really stressful and takes away from the “welcoming” experience when you are inviting friends who don’t usually go to Northwoods… it is hard to find seats for the people you invited, and also guests were ruthless about seats. It really did leave a bad taste for the unchurched friends I brought. Just sad that they now think of people pushing and being rude over seats when they think of church and

    Attended with another family. The overall opinion was it was ok. My 16 yr old son said it was just odd. A break dancer coming down from the ceiling, music was unfamiliar, wished it had traditional Christmas music. Seemed very secular and catering to young people. I wonder as to why the dancers wore boyshort costumes for a church performance. Everyone loved the Little Drummer Boy song. Wish it was a more traditional approach to celebrating Jesus birth. Less show more worship.

   The play was amazing this year. I loved all the angels coming down. The drummers lit up were spectacular, and that huge drum in them that lower down was amazing.

   Much better than last years but not quite as good as 3 years ago with the girls in the cages doing stunts

   Great Experience!

 Like I said the show was good but I probably won’t come back because of the parking situation.

 Northwoods always does an amazing job of putting together a Christmas program that is worthy of being shown in Hollywood, but I will never believe that wild action, amazing special effects, ear-splitting volume, and a glamorous extravaganza are the appropriate way to celebrate the birth of Christ.

   VERY talented performers and the message was awesome as well! Will attend when I am in the area.

   Great experience and the kids loved it. One daughter danced the whole time! Wonderful outreach opportunity to help bring others to Christ!

   Less dance and glitz, please, and more Jesus songs—traditional carols, for instance, that are reverent and don’t need embellishment. The last number was phenomenal.

     Wonderful

   Impressive as a PRODUCTION...but disappointing as presented in a religious venue ....with about as much Christ emphasis as a non-religious venue would give in America. FUN AND PRETTY and professional but for JESUS AS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON venue and event, it lacked severely in SPIRITUAL. Also girls could be attired more modestly but still beautiful. And the balcony seating was horrible for potential fire evacuation or emergency...no isles in front or easy way to exit

  A lot of aspects were missed when seated in the balcony. Had to rely on big screen because a good portion was up to the front of the stage and walk way. Over all we enjoyed it. We just selected bad seats.

   The show was amazing!!! After attending the show for 4 years I just find it hard to believe that it could get any better but each time it does. Kudos to all those involved for all of their hard work and dedication.

     EXCELLENT! I could type every positive word and it wouldn't be enough. Thank you for your time and talent in blessing us. It is a beautiful show to watch.

 Best production. Everything went so smooth from parking to seating, to leaving after.  

   The production was next level! Everything ran so smoothly and it was extremely entertaining. We want to make it a family tradition now to see it every year
