 The greeters are to helpful and friendly! Love the little concession stand.  

   Actors were excellent! Very lively. Made is easy for our high schoolers who came with to understand Shakespeare! A better production than many other places.

           Very enjoyable play. Enjoyed the play very much.

     Great location and very affordable. Seating is comfortable. A fun afternoon. I highly recommend attending. A hidden gem of Rockford. Need more advertising.

  R,U provided a welcoming location for a spectacular production. I don't think our community knows what a gem they have in the RU theater program.

   It’s Shakespeare, it always needs some cutting. Performance was too long. Actress that played Beateice was outstanding, Benedick was sub par. “Margaret” did well with her bit part. Sets were awesome. Women’s costumes beautiful. Men’s costumes looked slopppy. Need an iron?

   We thoroughly enjoyed much ado!! The acting was fabulous, the set was fantastic, lighting and cues were exceptional. I felt as if I were seeing a professional Shakespearian acting troupe! What a treat and it’s in our backyard’! Congratulations on a play very well done and we look forward to seeing more!

   We saw the production on Friday evening. The cast learned and executed their lines very well considering the prodigious amount of memorization. The choice of locating this play in New Orleans was interesting but not much effort was put into the reasoning for it. The women's costumes and the lighting were excellent. The unexpected dancing and singing gave bits of sparkle to the play. Beatrice's "Oh, would I were a man" speech was a true standout.

   I was dismayed that the villain Don John was played with a limp. This character trait seems to portray people with mobility/walking disabilities as evil. In the spirit of respect for disabilities I think Don John's limp should be eliminated. Other than that the play was outstanding. I thought the New Orleans twist would be a come down from Shakespearean dress and setting. But it was a brilliant adaptation. The dances and songs made Shakespeare much more accessible.

   This was such a great play!!!! The actors were fantastic!!! I loved to set too!!!!

 A first rate performance by extremely talented actors. Loved being able to see the muscians. Great singing voices too. On the down side, my husband wears hearing aids and it was difficult for him to hear some of the songs and dialogue. Don't know if RU has bluetooth or headsets for people who have hearing challenges but I do know it would have enhanced his experience.

   Appreciate the very talented performers, but play content was disappointing . Play disrespected Jesus & used God’s name as swearing. Play also highlighted man’s erection. Not sure what the story of play was. Definitely not something I would bring our grandkids to. Would be nice if advertisements for plays included a rating for which age groups were appropriate to see play.

   I really enjoyed this event. The actors, musicians, and crew gave me a very enjoyable evening at the theatre.

   It was funny, energetic and thrilling.

   Very talented students.

   Sound was very soft and I was in the front row. Could be much better. Otherwise we enjoyed it very much, lively, melancholy and brought back lovely memories.

 Very entertaining program. The acting, sets and costumes were top notch. There were a couple prop and curtain failures, but overall I would highly recommend the show and plan to return.

   Loved the humor and the theater always has the best costumes and sets. Disappointed that the seats I originally selected were replaced with seats that weren’t available. However, we still had good seats. Definitely interested in seeing some more productions

   The cast is so talented! The songs were very demanding and performed very competently. I am looking forward to future productions.

   I am s glad I bought season tickets to the RU Performing Arts program. The talent is amazing. Beautiful, clear, emotive voices and movement. After seeing three performances any of the faces on stage are familiar. I feel I’ve gotten to know them well enough to pick favorite BUT I tried and can’t. The support in the ensembles is flawless. Each solo is my favorite, until the next. RU Performing Arts is a gem in our community.

   Such a wonderful show. Such talented singers. We will definitely be back to see more shows by these singers.

   Wow! The arrangements, the talent, the theme. I am beyond glad that I went to this performance. Listened to "Silent Night" with new ears thanks to the change of tune. "Scarborough Fair" was a genius choice. The theme was universal and put the focus of what the holiday is about in a place where reminded me of what we celebrate: love and hope.    Very talented cast and crew. Their voices were amazing. The play was fun but just okay (it's my subjective taste).

   The cast and crew are super talented. It was an amazing production. I have never been disappointed by a theatrical event at RU.

   The entire cast had tremendous voices. We were not expecting this caliber of talent and were very pleased with the whole production.
