Skyaxe: More Than a Fight Club is a powerful documentary following the journey of one of Dundee’s most respected kickboxing gyms. Founded decades ago by ex-fireman and fighter Paul Kean, Skyaxe has grown into a globally recognised name in combat sport — but it’s much more than medals and titles.
Inside these walls, fighters become family.
From children as young as three to adults of all ages, Skyaxe provides discipline, purpose, belonging and strength. In a city facing real challenges around mental health, drugs and youth violence, this gym has quietly changed lives for generations.
This documentary explores the heart of Skyaxe — the community, the struggles, the triumphs and the people behind the gloves.
