Stage Crafters Community Theatre Reviews

 I thoroughly enjoyed the event.

Great folks bringing great entertainment every time! 😊❤️

Nice theater. Clean, and big enough. Great seats and great volunteers. Wish you had a concession stand with drinks and snacks.

 Amazing!!

 Very easy to purchase tickets

Always a great production, whatever is being presented

An amazing experience from beginning to end

Easy to purchase tickets. Always enjoy the shows here! The theater is old but easily accessible. The restrooms are in need of an upgrade.

Enjoyed being there as it always a privilege to attend a show.

everybody was friendly and helpful yes but took a while to figure out where to get will call as noboy manned the desk

I have not seen many stage crafters theater events so this was really my first one. I was pleasantly surprised by how well “Anne” did throughout the entire play. Though many did a great job, I was curious how “Anne’s” stages of the story would play out and I was so impressed by the young lady’s ability to not only look different but behave differently as “Anne” grew up/matured.

A great community theater with amazing actors and actresses

Great performance by all! Very enjoyable experience.

Awesome show and a must see!

 fabulous show, so impressed

What a wonderful afternoon of laughs. Great job to all the actors and, of course, Toby too!

Humorous and suspenseful! Entertaining at every turn! 😊❤️

 Excellently executed!

Second act was much better than the first! Overall, the actors and stage crew did a fine job.

The show didn’t work. We actually left at the intermission. The actors did a good job. The show was not engaging or entertaining. It was disappointing.

 Some dialog rapid and unintelligible

What a great show! This was a must see!

 Actors were fantastic!

Nicely done & the cast was a fun ensemble 😊

Very impressed with all the costume changes and all the complicated lines the actors had to memorize. All the actors were believable and at a professional level. Watson was amazing.

We love the auditorium. Comfortable seating. However everyone was freezing cold. My friend had to step out and go outside for a bit. People were complaining how cold it was. Acting was great. Enjoyable play.

Thrilling! Best show we've seen in years.

Great show! I'm not sure which part was the most entertaining in this fast-paced show, the story, the actors changing costumes, or the ever-changing props. Fantastic job!

The show was amazing. The cast were fantastic

 It was very good!

Loved your production of Anne of Green Gables! All the actors were amazing, most especially Anne!! And your set was so clever!!

it was absolutely spectacular! All of your plays are excellent but this one touched my heart.

I'd never read or seen anything about the play but it was a great show! the casting seemed perfect, the props were very effective and the show was entertaining! My family loved it!

The performance of the cast members was excellent as always. However, I found the constant short scenes with so many changes and waiting periods in between rather disruptive to the flow of the play.

Enjoyed every moment. Would like a snack bar and especially water.

 Great show! Great cast!

Very enjoyable. 10&13 year old loved it!!

This is the only production Stage Crafters has done that I haven't enjoyed. The glaring issue with this production lies squarely on the shoulders of its lead. The lead delivered a surprisingly flat interpretation of Anne, missing the crucial subtext that drives the entire plot. There was a noticeable deficit in emotional stakes and was rushed; the character's internal turmoil felt performative rather than earned. Side note, the set seemed dangerously put together as well.

Loved it. The actors did a great job. However there were a lot of times I could not hear especially at the beginning.

I was also impressed by how the change of scenes was handled, especially with soooooo many things going on in Avonlee and Anne’s life; well done!!

Great production! Great actors! Great director

We really enjoyed this production. The entire cast was superb and the charcter playing Anne was outstanding!

Enjoyed the show very much and they all did such a wonderful job...can't wait to see another show.

The cast and crew did a wonderful job! A fantastic must see show!!!

 Amazing cast, amazing scenery!

Thank you for bringing Rent to Fort Walton Beach! My wife and I first saw Rent in 1996 (three months after Jonathan Larson tragically died too young). Your production maintain the spirit of Rent and did a remarkable job at keeping it alive. Rent is not without detractors (close-minded people), and to produce it in all its glory was a beautiful thing. THANK YOU!!! One song, glory, Stan Kroder Santa Rosa Beach, FL

Wonderful performance by a cast of great actors and singers.

Better than Off Broadway! Absolutely incredible. Ted Corcoran/Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce

 very talented actors

Male lead singers were off-key/flat but very good at their role. Conversely, there were a few women who sang like true professionals and the troupe was synced like a well oiled machine. This was lovely to watch pulling on heart strings as the play was meant to do! They did a tremendous job on the play as a whole. I would definitely recommend anything the StageCrafters do.

 Very super awesome sauce:3

RENT is incredible. The set was extraordinary! I’ve never seen anything like it! The show had so many moving parts, yet everything ran seamlessly—and it’s very well directed. The LIVE BAND takes it to another level, making the production feel polished and truly professional. You can tell everyone worked extremely hard to bring this show together. GREAT CAST AND CREW! 👏 What a way to kick off the 54th year of STAGE CRAFTERS!

I appreciate the effort by all the performers and their characting

The performance was great, everyone was dedicated and professional.

Loved the set. Choreography was very well down. Lots of singing talent in this show. Costumes were spot on.

This was my first time seeing Rent and anything at a theatre around here. This was such an awesome experience and StageCrafters and the cast really brought the show to life. Will be on the lookout for their next show!!

The cast did such an amazing job in their roles! We knew exactly who each cast member was playing in their roles! I really loved Angel, Roger and Maureen! What a surprise to have something so wonderfully done here in little fort Walton beach!

awesome no.day but today! Jonathan Lawson is smiling from the café in heaven!

 Smszing!

The actors are awesome as always. I didn't care for the screenplay the way it was written. No original songs, not really a decent storyline. I didn't get the movie vibes in the screenplay as it was written. Stage Crafters are not to blame. They rocked what they had to work with. Just disappointed in the way it was written.

An absolute hillarious show. Great staging, acting, singing. I went with 5 others and we laughed and smiled throughout. I hate to say it was the best, (so many other productions were just terrific) but close to it!

sister act was amazing. They cast did a fantastic job.

This was my first time experiences the magic of the local theater. A tale roughly as old me, told in the most refreshing, and enjoyable way I can not wait for the opportunity to see Act II. Erica Thornton Touchton as Deloris was the BIGGEST TREAT!! Brava!! Each character was casted perfectly and the natural real-life relationships between the cast were easily seen on stage, specifically with the nuns. One additional call out is Mary (the youngest of the bunch). Amazing!!

Very entertaining. The cast's singing was excellent.

Great acting and dancing, not the best singing. Song lyrics were funny.

My daughter and I haven't laughed that much together in quite a long time. Thank you for giving us that opportunity with this delightful production!

Another very enjoyable show. Special thanks to the leading lady and the theee ‘villains’.

Well worth seeing. Nice performance overall. Only flaw (for me & my wife) was the lack of truly hearing what the lead singer lady was singing. Loud she was, but clarity of her voice /song words was minimal. Other singers, did not have that problem. The various men and the Choir characters were GREAT.

I love it! Looking forward to the next one!

 It was stunning!

This was, by far, the best show in the last couple of years. The star of the show was AWESOME. I loved hearing her sing. All of the cast was were great. The young girl who was shy at first (not sure her name) came out later with a booming/great voice. She was totally awesome!!! She should be on Broadway! (I didn't save the playbill so I am not sure of the names) The 3 guys who were helping the murderer were so funny! The were fantastic!!'

Supremely well done! The lead pushed through the loss of her voice like a pro, and the entire show and cast were fantastic! Loved the choreo!

What a great experience! The performance was wonderful… What a testament to great talent in our area! The director, the performers, and what I know must be a great support group produced a wonderful show! Love the new energy!

 . Great!!

 Excellent show with great performances

 Thank you

Mic problems were distracting. Actors always good!

The script was novel and fun. The cast was excellent. Kudos to the cast and to the director, who was also in the play. The staging was so well synchronized for the many vignettes in the show. The stage set was beautiful. Both the humor and the mystery in the show were so well portrayed. The scenes where the director came out to supposedly explain side notes to the audience were hilarious- especially with the cast ‘acting out’ behind her. All together, a winning performance!

I liked the first act a lot. The second act went on too long. Essentially the interviewing the 10 other people in the play was just too much. Also, the interaction from the director was mildly annoying. Good information but it broker everyone's concentration.

I loved this so much! The set was really impressive. My favorite thing was probably the director as she kept interrupting the show. Really funny and well done!!

Great way to spend a Sunday afternoon!

Went with 2 of my regulars, and all 3 loved it. enjoyed the interaction with the audience. it was funny, but loved being able to decide "who did it", even it we were wrong!

Loved the entire performance!! Looking forward to many more.

what a unique play I'm sure it was difficult to put together with so many different murderers thanks

Absolutely LOVED it and all the interaction with the audience and "whodunit!" What a great show from start to finish. Bravo!

The actors were great, but the play was confusing to me.

This play seemed disjointed. The back and forth was good; however some time should have been taken to introduce the characters before the half. I know people get sick but having someone reading the script was distracting. Maybe the understudy should have had lines memorized just in case.

It was a really fun show and interactive with the audience.

 enjoyed

I am not 100% sure I understand what I bought. I THINK I bought 4 tickets to use any way I wish throughout this 2026 year.

 Loved it!

I like the flexibility of the tickets. John is very nice and works with you.

I loved it. It was much better than Cats. I am going to see it again and again.

 So funny!

Lend Me A Tenor is a wonderfully fun show! Very enjoyable, don’t miss it. And stay to the very end!

I laughed out loud ALOT !! Everybody was so good! And what a nice way to honor the directors daughter

Great show. Very funny and the actors were terrific. Loved the end when they all kept running in and out of thr various rooms.

 We thoroughly enjoyed the show!

Great cast and acting. Very funny and never a dull moment...fun

Great show actors all nailed it! Very funny great production and entertainment!!

This production was fabulous. Such a talented cast, and a laugh out loud script. When the world around you seems to be falling apart, it is pure joy to ‘escape’ for a few hours. I’m thankful Fort Walton Beach has Stagecrafters.

 A favorite!

 Very funny. Cast performed well.

 Simply terrific, Thanks

Great job! I like to see something different, an unknown play they were so much fun to watch. Plus could tell the cast really loved doing the show ! Thanks to everyone involved for all tour hard work it paid off for the audience

 You all did incredible work.

We laughed so much! It was so much fun for our whole family.

Absolutely wonderful! Acting supurb, again one of the best (each one gets better and better. I bought 3 tickets, 2 friends came with me) and they felt the same.

 Acting was great! Too long.

I wished I was able to see it more than once. Exquisite!

I loved it. It was much better than Cats. I am going to see it again and again.

 Excellent show! Outstanding cast!

Great show! Excellent cast and set. The restrooms need upgrading!

The Diary of Anne Frank was done perfectly. The setting made the audience feel like we traveled back in time. Anne was so expressive and had a beautiful speaking voice. One scene that stuck out to me was when Mrs. Van Daan played by Deborah Dodge had to get rid of her beautiful fur coat in exchange for money to survive. Well done, Stage Crafters. We shall never forget

Excellent performance, it didn’t feel like the actors were acting but were living the story. Congratulations Stagecrafters on another outstanding show.

This play was exceptionally well done! The actors were superb! We felt transported back in time and could feel a wide array of feelings they endured during this horrific time. Bravo to everyone involved!

 Cast did a great job

Very well done. Actors were accurate in portrayal, providing realistic characters. Set changes were smooth.

Play was fantastic. The role of Anne was superbly played by the young actress. The other actors were also very talented! Very enjoyable…depicting a sad time in history.

Well done performance on a difficult subject. Trying not to see the similarities between today and that era. I pray that our world wakes up and recognizes that fear and hatred will destroy us.

Performance was so well done while still being respectful of such a difficult topic

The best dramatic play I've ever seen performed at Stage Crafters. The director did a phenomenal job of putting together a very talented cast that transported us all into that attic to experience what those people went through just trying to survive.

It was a very moving story. Emotions were raw and they were very believable to the situation they were in. Very good acting.

 Fantastic event!

Hilarious, we so enjoyed it. Fabulous acting and the singing (they should be on Broadway, we all agreed.

Loved it! Great cast, fun musical!

 Beautiful voices! Funny! Very entertaining!

The play was terrific, Script, Directing, Acting, Sets, Props, Costumes, Lighting, Makeup were all terrific. Sound, not so much. I'm old enough that I need hearing aids and for some reason, the actors' microphones and my hearing aids were not working well together. Especially with the lyrics, I got the gist, but not the words. I didn't seem to have the problem with spoken lines, just with the lyrics. I also missed there being a live orchestra

 The performance was awesome!

 I thoroughly enjoyed the show.

Performance and singing by actors was fantastic. Only thing I did not care for was there to be to many breaks between active scenes.

Very enjoyable! The cast is very talented and their love of performing obvious.

The cast was awesome. They were wonderful singers and great actors. The only problem was that I couldn’t understand a lot of what they were saying or singing.

Absolutely amazing! Great job to the cast and crew!

 HIlarious!

Phenomenal show! One of the best musical productions Stagecrafters has put on. The acting and singing were top notch and the show was hilarious.

Fantastic play! Every single person involved in this did an amazing job! We thoroughly enjoyed the play! Thank you!!

 Wonderful performances!

Y'all are amazing! Thank you and Bravo!

I loved it. It was much better than Cats. I am going to see it again and again.
