Drama People presents A. S. Peterson’s Frankenstein, adapted by Drama People for young audiences.
“Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to stumble! Such things must come, but woe to the person through whom they come!” Matthew 18:7
We invite you to join us on a journey that is more than a monster story, more than a tale of ambition and medical ethics. It is a journey into the souls of mankind, where we search the roles we play in our world today and in shaping what is to come…
Will we love or will we hate? Will we edify or will we defile? Will we lead to life or will we lead to death?
In the words of the Monster, “You are the cause. I am the effect. The rest is destiny.”
Several people have asked us what age is appropriate to come see the show. Of course, every family will have their own barometer for what is acceptable for their kids, but our best guess is somewhere near age 8+. Parents should note that the Monster will be wearing makeup scars on his face and head. There are fight scenes and deaths in the show. And it is a drama, not a comedy. But, after the show all actors will be available in the courtyard for young kids to greet and talk to, to see that it was all pretend!
