WCSP Reviews

My direct experience with WCSP as a sponsor was disappointing. Communication was lacking throughout the process, and I often felt left in the dark. I understand that organizing a large event can be challenging and that staffing shortages happen, but given how long this event has been established, I expected a more organized and communicative experience—especially considering the financial investment we made to support it.

The Sheriff's Posse were absolutely fantastic. A great time was had by all.

first time to to wilco rodeo, it was awesome!!!! it gives me faith back in people, everyone was absolutely awesome, happy joyful, courteous wonderful time!

The overall event was good. The rodeo included all the usual events. The opening ceremonies were really nice.

 I've been attending Rodeo Austin

 Wonderful as usual! Thank you!!!

We had the best time! The event was organized and very well put together. All the staff was helpful and accommodating. Literally the nicest people. The rodeo itself was entertaining and had lots of events for everyone. I really appreciated them getting the littles in the community engaged and participating. The VIP corral was fantastic! The food was delish and it was worth every red cent! Leon Coffee was our fave and the drill team was beautiful. Can't wait for next year.

The Williamson County rodeo was everything you would expect from the rodeo. It was enjoyable and very entertaining.

GOOD comments below (not enough space to finish). POOR comments: Power Wash those nasty aluminum stadium seats!!! Sticky, filthy from spilled food and drinks. Came home with stained pants. Secondly, Vendors need to be vetted for quality of service and food/drinks, and checked during event. Worst “lemonade” ever. Not recognizable, AND for $10? Get real…cant’ screw up a corn dog, but some of the other offerings???

 Great time with great people!

Absolutely beautiful venue, very nice show, not much sitting still went from one event to another very quickly and uneventfully. Great show- we would go again:)

They are a great group that knows how to have a good time. They put on awesome events. I look forward to them each year!

Our only experience with the WCSP is at the annual rodeos. To put on such a fine event takes a well-run organization, and it's very evident.

friendly, helpful staff, good seating arrangements, You all put on a great event and I'm glad to see you found a home.

 I enjoyed myself very much!

The event itself was a lot of fun. We had a few teary-eyed moments, plenty of proud moments, some "oof" moments, and lots of laughs—everything you'd hope for in a great show. My only real disappointment was the food. I would have loved to see more local food trucks and a better variety of options. The selection felt limited, and the portions and quality didn't seem to justify the prices.

Great hometown rodeo with overwhelming local support. Excellent vendors. WILCO Sheriff's Department were awesome as usual. The Sheriff's Posse riders and flag bearers were absolutely fantastic. Their interaction with all the children was wonderful, signing their photos and talking with the kiddos about the horses and what they do. Just awesome! The rodeo performances were great. I love that the mutton bustin' is still alive and well in Texas!

The event was very family, friendly, community, friendly all around just great

very well entertained. awesome staff. so so friendly made me feel very comfortable. Having staff greet us on horse back at the entrance was amazing i hope it continues I would like to stop and talk to the group next time. Saturday night seemed a little off from future events. The announcer didn't tell us who won the events. Kind of informed on what was coming up next. But that doesn't stop me from coming. When i can I will always come to your Rodeo.

I think the food prices were a little outrageous. I know y'all may not have control over that but the families around us also commented on it. $15 for a burger and fries is wild. It was like rodeo Austin prices.

We will be back next year!!

It's what I expected from a small town rodeo.

My family is from California, but this is our second time to this rodeo. We love it.

More bucking of horses/bulls More stopwatch clocks around the fence line, so people sat next to the announcement booth can see the clock

went by quick but it was a hell of a time

 Loved it! ❤️

It was fun but all the vendors were toooo expemsive.

This was a very nice event. I loved the local feel and the band was great. A few things for thought in the coming years....People tend to stand next to fence in between sections, so anyone behind them in chairs or in the lower bleacher area can not see. This is not kids and it was not temporary video a particular rider. I would suggest someone stationed in the area, possibly signs to help this. Could not hear the Leon at all.

The Good: Adequate and convenient parking.Great display of livestock. Crowd was involved and social. No drunks or vulgar language. The tractor work was calming, almost invoking a trance. The kids events were the most entertaining. Opening pomp and circumstance was well prepared and delivered. Forgot to honor the relatively new US Space Force. the dead time between events was too long. Leon Coffee was classically good, but you need to turn up his microphone

 We had the best time!!!

The rodeos just keep getting better! We notice more participants, more improvements to the facility, and continued high quality in the operation.

We enjoyed it a lot, very family friendly.

Such an awesome Rodeo...had a great time! All those involved went above and beyond to make this an entertaining evening. Appreciate the cowboys, cowgirls, and their gifts and talents!! Blessed evening indeed!

Loved it all. The funniest thing had to be the steer saddle and ride teams. The kids were adorable in the calf scramble and lamb riding. Great clean fun entertainment.

 Fun and well organized!

I loved the convenience of the VIP seating, the weather was great when we got there and the event was very fun!

 Loved it!

 I enjoyed myself very much!

very well. wanted to see more Branco riding, everything else was fantastic. Parking was great also. Thank you for all you did for this event.

From the Calf ropingto the Bull Riding were fun, fast paced events. The barrel racing event was outstanding.

I have always loved the rodeos and Leon Coffee

We loved learning a little about Texas heritage and appreciated the patriotic emphasis too. This was a great, family-friendly activity that was well organized. The DJ/emcee and the comedian were entertaining as well. Thanks for helping to make our first trip to Texas such a memorable one.

I liked the set up where we could move around with my 22 month Granddaughter! It was a great time and nice show!

 Everything was run exceptionally well.

Nice event. Well run. Will probably attend again. Did not stay for the band and dance.

The rodeo is not what it used to be, not enough entries or spectators. Has really gone downhill over the last 10 years.

 AWESOME!

Very entertaining! Loved that the kids were included. A great way for the younger generations to learn to be a part of this amazing American tradition!

Great as always except you need another speaker at the other end of the arena.

The bleachers have tight leg room. With the growing size of people, the seating must take that into account. An otherwise wonderful evening can be “ruined” with knees in your back...and with larger people in front, it becomes a place I do not want to be.

 Excellent

Great event. Family fun. Great date night. First time we attended. Will definitely be back and telling everyone we know of the great value and time we had. Staff were all personable, professional and thankful for fans attendance. GREAT JOB WCSP!!!!

This is always great FUN!! I appreciate having the music and dance AFTER so I can enjoy the RODEO and go home and not feel I have gone to a "concert" with the Rodeo as an afterthought!!

Needs more seatings. The event is vey well planned out and great participants

Great family friendly event. Can’t wait until next year!

A few things... more participates in the various events. Less comic the clown. better audio, it was sometime hard to hear the announcer. But the staff running the event were very good and welcoming to the visitors.

Loved the patriotism. All the events were outstanding and very well organized. The announcer did a great job too. I was impressed by the smooth transition between events; no waiting around for the next one to start. Seating was more than adequate and everyone working in the ticket area went above and beyond to help to make sure we got everything we were supposed to have. All the workers were so friendly; it was a joyful time!

A lot of fun. Wiah I could of seen and heard more.

 Great time for the family.

It was awesome in every way!

Loved the rodeo and glad that it is still able to go on after the arena in Georgetown being shut down. Seeing Leon perform and being out there was awsome and we can't wait for the next one!

They maintained the feel of the original rodeo very well. Will come back next year. Hopefully the seating is improved!

My daughter and I had a great time! I love keeping the tradition alive with her. Everyone was very nice and helpful! The only thing was that the seating in the VIP section wss a little crowded and if you were sitting on the bottom it made it hard to see the events on the other side of the arena. I have confidence though that these are things that will be worked on for next year. Thank you for all your hard work to keep this rodeo alive!

 We loved it!

I loved it! The only thing is it seemed a little too long with the skit and I love Leon Coffee, he is beyond awesome but maybe not so long postponing the rodeo. Other than that it was great and good job getting everything ready in time!

The VIP section seating was WAY too small. Many people stood around the side of the stands which made seeing the events almost impossible. Also, the ground in the parking area was too rough. Lastly, we didn't stay for the dance because the "dance floor" looked too hard to dance on. The arena was small--is that the reason for no bareback or saddlebronc events, and also so few bull riders?

I loved the rodeo! It was so much fun!! Leon Coffee was awesome! Sheriffs posse y’all did a great job in the short amount of time y’all had. I’m sure next year will even be better.

It was unfortunate that more competitors didn't show. Two bull riders was a sad ending to such a historic event. I hope as this event grows more folks will enter.

Enjoyed the combination rodeo and Dance.

There was not nearly enough seating, we couldnt stand in the open area because the people in the stands couldnt see and when we tried to sit in that area we were asked to move by security. It was such an awful expericence and a disappointment to our children because we were not even able to see the rodeo nor did we get to even watch our nephew ride the sheep. We left and they were still letting people in even though they were at capacity.

I attended and was highly satisfied. This is a family event for our family and my grandson won the Mutton Busting contest that night. He is still very proud of his trophy. I loved when the horses were turned loose in the arena and the song from Lonesome Dove was played. Too bad the Georgetown City Council influenced by Sun City said the Georgetown was too urban for a rodeo and they tore down the old arena to make a place for a "Dog Park". Their loss!
