Burr and Burton Academy Performing Arts Department presents the hit musical The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee in the Riley Center from March 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 at 6:30 pm.
Spelling Bee, is an award winning musical comedy with music and lyrics by William Finn, a book by Rachel Sheinkin, conceived by Rebecca Feldman with additional material by Jay Reiss. Join this lovable and eccentric group of adolescent outsiders as they compete in a fictional spelling bee set in a geographically ambiguous Putnam Valley. Together with the quirky adults everyone learns that winning is not everything.
