Children's Ballet Theatre Reviews

 An excellent show !!!

What a great performance!! Very talented group of performers!! My great niece, Sammie Bedolla was one of the dancers! Very proud of her!!

watching the students was amazing in their nutcracker event

Excellent performance. Love all the dancing. The children did a marvelous job.

I thought I had purchased center aisle tickets from the website diagram. when we got to the theater, the aisle seats were numbered in reverse order. The 1, 2 , and 3 seats i purchased were on an outside aisle, not the center aisle.

I absolutely loved the show! My daughter is one of the extras through the CMN and this was the biggest event of her life! Her experience so far is one that she will talk about for years to come. Jesse and the cast were wonderful with the children with the CMN in regards to making them feel important, and that means a lot to myself. Jesse did an amazing job with the choreography, and all the performers from the main characters to the smaller characters were great!

Robin Hood was a lovely surprise. The clever script adjustments for the almost all female cast worked perfectly. It was such an enjoyable evening. Congratulations to Miss Ela, Jessie and the entire companyWe also enjoyed the costumes, hats. We thought the performance deserved a much bigger audience.

We really enjoyed the performance of the Nutcracker! It was also really terrific to be able to purchase flowers, treats and ornaments at the performance. What a lovely idea! The actual performance was very high quality and entertaining. The young children did a wonderful job and were obviously schooled in what to do if something fell off or was dropped. The mature dancers who had a couple of spills picked right up like professionals and went on with the show.

It was good and was nice to see a lot of people in one place.

Beautiful facility which makes the viewing all the more enjoyable! Excellent production! Beautiful dancing and staging!

 Wonderful !

 Wonderful as always

Both of our groups truly enjoyed watching this production!

 I thoroughly enjoyed the performance.

 Excellent

Amazing show!! Such talented dancers and loved every second of it.

The show was really, really good. Took a couple of our grandkids, and they enjoyed it. I was surprised at how well the dancers performed. Can't say enough about how much we enjoyed it.

Excellent show. Beautiful costumes, talented dancers.

I attended the musical expecting a family-friendly experience suitable for children. A drag performer appeared wearing a very large dress, and several small children emerged from underneath the dress, which was disturbing and out of place for a family friendly Christmas musical. Family programming should avoid scenes that could be interpreted as suggestive. I understand the intent of being all inclusive but a drag queen belongs in an adult cabaret club.

Amazing show!! Such talented dancers and loved every second of it.

 An excellent show!!!

The judge was absolutely adorable and perfect. the Queen of Hearts did an outstanding job in her role. I really like how all the age groups were incorporated into the production at their skill level.

Very talented youth and fabulous costumes! Love the flowers outside the entrance as well.

We have attended CBT performances for at least 10 years & this was one of the best! The costumes were excellent. Loved (what seemed to be) the increased number of “full cast” numbers.

It was a beautiful performance. My daughter and I enjoyed it very much!

I can't be too brutal because the ballet was danced by children- I could tell it was their last show and they were done. Hardly any of the dancers were smiling. After dancing shows all weekend they were tired, the dancing didn't have any energy. The dancers enpointe kept slipping, there were three collisions on stage of dancers running into each other, the Arabian dancer forgot her dance. Sickled feet everywhere. Clara was so awkward. Sugar Plum was the best of the evening.

The set was terrific, and the costumes were all beautiful and obviously well maintained. The Program was of an outstanding caliber and fun to look at and read descriptions of the performers. For the suggestion box: consider giving a brief summary of the show verbally that younger viewers and those who are not good readers can understand. I did see a summary of the story, but it was pretty dark to read in the auditorium. The venue was also tops!

 An outstanding performance.

We as grandparents of a dancer, have attended for 8 years. Without question this had the highest level of dancing. All elements of this year’s Nutcracker, including costumes, sets, and choreography were outstanding. The cast was bigger, too. The audiences on Friday and Sunday were bigger than ever. Overall it was just splendid. Congratulations to all!

 It was fantastic.

WONDERFUL!!!! It was evident that the dancers have all worked hard & LOVE to dance! I ended up buying 6 tickets in 3 transactions so this is the only review email I’ll respond to at this time. Thank you again for an entertaining & enjoyable afternoon!

Our group enjoyed this very much!

Our group enjoyed this very much!

This has been a great experience for my niece and nephew and it was great to see the multiple levels of dancers and their enjoyment at being included.

We are biased because our granddaughter is part of the cast, but we found it very enjoyable.

 Loved the performance!

. It was truly amazing and the dancers were fantastic. The entire production was so truly outstanding!!!! I will definitely attend again. So worthwhile for participants and audience both!!!

 Great show!

Beautiful performance. Enjoyed the artistic skill, energy and joy of the cast. Appreciated the convenient and well designed Eastern venue. Thank you

 I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Amazing show!! Such talented dancers and loved every second of it.

The partnering with the 2 oldest guest dancers seemed very unsafe. I was afraid they were going to drop the dancers and/or cause an injury. They just seemed very unsure of what they were doing and were throwing the girls off of their alignment in turns, at no fault of the girls. Otherwise, it was a good show

Cinderella was spectacular! The dancers are so talented! The performance was clean and kept my daughter and I captivated the entire time! I seriously thought we had only been there 45 mins and couldn’t believe the perform was 2 hours, it was that engaging! Ticket prices were reasonable and we got great seats!

Well done! Beautiful dancing. Enjoyable venue.

 We loved it.

 Loved it

I loved it. Years ago my daughter Chelsea (who is deaf) performed in the ‘Twas ballet in Grand Rapids. I came to tears to see her and my granddaughter along with other handicapped children on your stage. This say a lot for your Company and your student to have invited them. I so much enjoyed your presentation very well done. To all that participantes congratulations on a very well done performance.

 Absolutely loved it!

 Beautiful show!

 Excellent performance!

The dancer were stunning!! A wonderful performance from each one of them.

Kids did an amazing job! The venue was nice because it kept you close to the stage. Everything was very professional and a good way to begin the holiday season!

The show was really nice. The dancers did a very nice job. The Grand Ledge Theater was very nice.

They did well with the performance.

It was wonderful and so well done! Very enjoyable to watch and the dancers were so talented and dedicated. Our daughter loved it too!!

 Venue was disappointing…show was great!
