Hamraaz ensemble is commemorating Ghamarolmolok Vaziri as well as Neda and all other lost lives in search of freedom and democracy in Iran.
Ghamarolmolok Vaziri, the singer of Morgh-e Sahar, is the first Iranian woman who sang on the stage of the Grand Hotel almost 100 years ago. She removed her veil, stood proud, and revealed true Iranian womens identity inspite of numerous religious, cultural, and political obstacles.
Hamraaz ensemble is a band of elite musicians who intend to share the tale of Ghamar which manifested itself in Nedas awakening martyrdom one century later...the story of our WOMENS BASIC RIGHTS.
