IASC Theatre Department Reviews

Have attended a few events and always enjoy them.

It was absolutely amazing. I enjoyed it very much. I thought last year was great, but you out done yourself this year. I was very proud of my Grandson and the students. They were well rehearsed.

Great communication with Ms Gonzalez leading up to the show and all rehearsals. She did a great job improvising schedules during missed rehearsals due to snow. The crew/actors schedule and expectations were clearly communicated. She treated all kids with respect and gave them an excellent first experience in theater. She facilitated great friendships within the cast.

It was beautiful thank you enjoy it

 Very nice. Enjoyed it!

 Wonderful production!

It was difficult to hear everyone.

The sound was way too low to understand the full show

Great show! Acting, set, everything was great! Acting with emotions in middle school ❤️

It was fun and funny! I enjoyed seeing the kids' personalities shine!

Some of the skits were really funny.

Loved it! I feel like there needs to be more advertising about events like this. And advertising more than 1 day before the event. It’s a great way to earn money for the school and so many are missing out not seeing the kids having fun on stage. I’m really glad that my schedule allowed me to go despite the last minute announcement. Ms Gonzalez did a great job teaching this kids again! They all had so much fun and it was fun to watch them!

It was interesting that the audience enthusiasm seemed to be a little quiet. I was told that was because some of the actors mentioned to their parents that the clapping in previous shows was a distraction.

Fantastic! The kids were excellent in their roles. Lighting and sound was perfect and you can tell that all kids really enjoyed the production. Kids projected their voices so all could hear and even brought some comedy in the show. You would never guess that this was some of the kids first time in theater. Bravo!!

 Great job

Great show and great job by all the cast! Even with technical difficulties they held it together, adjusted and moved on. Loved it!

Ms. Gonzales and the kids did a great job. Ms. Gonzales is a superstar teacher. JCPS should do more to support her and the performing arts at the middle school level.

 Excellent

I had a difficult time hearing some of the actors, but otherwise it was very enjoyable.

This was a great production! We laughed so many times. All of the students showed their amazing talent and dedication!

Difficult for little ones to see

Loved it! It was evident how much the students loved being a part of this production. So much talent! Great job, everyone!

Excellent show! I loved the theme and the play itself. Great cast too. However, many lines were unheard due to quiet voices or unbalanced microphones and I didn't want to miss a word. It was performed at the perfect time of year (Women's History Month!), and I liked that it was a women-heavy cast to allow for more speaking parts for girls, who tend to show more interest in drama club.

Production was great! Some of the students were difficult to hear, especially the doctor, teacher and Matthew.

Very well done! It was a challenging show to put on but the crew was a very cooperative team and the performers were well rehearsed. Lead performer Anne was spectacular memorizing and delivering all her lines. Many actors were very quiet or had their backs to audience.

The cast and crew were amazing.
