     Always a great experience!!!

     Wonderful production of “12 Angry Women”, we thought the cast was great. It was serious and funny in all the right parts. Will definitely be back to watch more shows. We had a wonderful time!

     Well casted. Saw opening and closing nights. Best one that I’ve attended.

   Other than a hard time hearing some of the dialogue, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience.

   The staff is great, so welcoming and helpful.

   Loved it. Excellent acting and set and costumes! Language is a barrier for some however the nature of the subject that would be expected!

   This was absolutely wonderful!!! I have lived here for five years and have never visited this little gem. I mean it was incredible. I will be back!

   One of the best shows hands down..all of the actors were incredible. The stage set was phenomenal. Big shout out to kelli for her hard work,Todd for his debut as Tommy(who wowed us and last but not least Andy. You have found your place ♥️

   It was great, I can’t believe several of those actors were first time. It was awesome, so glad we got to go!

      This was PHENOMENAL!!! The cast was absolutely AMAZING!!! Andy Dufresne…. beyond talented!!! Red…excellent!!! Brookes, Warden, talent EVERYWHERE on that stage tonight!!! The stage set was perfect for each and every scene, JUST PHENOMENAL!! GREAT JOB cast, crew and to Portsmouth Little Theatre!!! Standing Ovation to all❤️

   It was amazing!

     This was my first visit to the theater here and it was a WONDERFUL experience. As the curtain opened, the set design immediately captivated me, transporting me to the world of the Shank. The acting was amazing! With their commitment to the characters and all of the other theatrical effects that brought the show together, this production is a must-see!!

     This was by far the best

   Such a small theater for such big performances! I found myself reliving the movie as the story played out, but the actors brought the characters more to life than on screen. I heartily enjoyed this showing. FYI, it's a prison story, harsh language and mature subject matter.

       The show was very very good. The director Kelli Riffe did an excellent job. The actors were on point. The storyline followed the original movie to a tee. I will definitely be attending more shows in the future. The props were awesome.

     I had a party of five at the event. The stage and props were fabulous. The actors were excellent in their performances. The number of scene changes would be the only low light. Although, I do not see how the play could have flowed without them. We love attending the shows, and we look forward to attending future plays.

   The set: AMAZING! costumes: WONDERFUL!! They look alike, while remaining individual. The cast: I'm super super super thrilled to see newbies do just SO WELL!!! the direction, the lighting, the stage crue!! And, Andy Dufrense was PERFECT for the role!!

     A great show that I was looking forward to all year did not disappoint. First impressed by an impressive set. Sound was better than normal. Unique in that it was an all male cast and each with an outstanding performance. Was already a big Shawshank fan so I was hanging on every line from each cast member. Cast was well selected to their respective rolls. Quite impressed overall and looking forward to next season at PLT.

   This was a wonderful play. The actors were great. Directing was awesome.

   Stellar performance last night! A vivid rendition of the movie version with a few twists. The rain was incredible. Masterful touch to the authenticity of the show. Bravo to all the actors. They fit their character extremely well. Will definitely be coming back to this quaint little house for the arts.

   5 stars!!! Absolutely amazing work by all! The set was awesome and the actors were outstanding. Kelli and Erin out did themselves on this one! Great job!!

   Excellent production, except for the obvious being too many blackouts, but frankly I’m not sure how you would remedy it.

   The start was different for me..but after intermission things picked up and it really all came together. I never regret a Friday evening spent there.

       This show was fantastic!!! Director. Eva Martin put together a fantastic cast showcasing every level of talent and humor! From her opening my monologue to the final bows,Portsmouth little theater was in constant laughter all evening. I wish I could give it more than five stars.~ because it’s well-deserved!! Can’t wait to see it again tonight!!!

     Had the BEST time tonight! The comedic timing of this show is bar none just ‘beyond fabulous’ and you will laugh all the way through on this one. Kudos to everyone from the director, to the cast, to the crew. Amazing job all the way around.

   This event was an amazing experience. I was very impressed with the talent of the actors. Each and every one of them. This was my first time going to a play at this venue and it was such a great experience that I can't wait for the next play!

  Loved this show! Long show but wasn’t bothered due to the talent on stage! Characters of Violet and Barb were amazing! Looking forward to next show!

   Filthy language.

   The acting was absolutely phenomenal! This play was longer than others but I didn’t even realize the time because of how entertained it kept me.

   Loved the cast. Eva was great as lead actress. So, was the lady who played Barb.

 Positively buzzing from a great performance of the play August: Osage County tonight! Seriously, if you are in or around Portsmouth next weekend, go see it. I can’t imagine the show being more well-executed.

   My friends and I had a great time tonight. This may be the best show I have been to there.

   Awesome show, actors were great and the story kept me engaged. The ending where the Aunt reveals her secret, shocking and I kind of felt sorry for the character having to keep the secret all those years. Very well played.

   What a stellar performance! Literally everything about the show put on was phenomenally done. The talent pool from this area is just outstanding! Well done.

  I am sorry to say that I did not care for this version of Christmas Carol. To have the characters doing both narration and their lines seemed like continual commercial interruptions. The acting, as usual, was very good on the part of those involved. Regina Craig

   While I enjoyed the acting. I didn’t like the self narration style with play. Also, I was looking forward to the traditional Christmas carol, I didn’t like the Marley point of view.

   It was not very good. The actors did a fine job, but I have no idea why the had the characters describe what they were doing like we couldn't see it and also they had a narrator sitting right there! The narrator should have been doing the describing. I also would have liked to see set changes. My daughters High School put on a musical tnat was 100 times better tjan than this.

   Wonderful interpretation of the classic Christmas Carol. The cast did a fantastic job.

   Great story brought to life by the wonderful cast. My wife and I enjoyed it thoroughly

   Jacob Marley's Christmas Carol was fantastic! I can't speak more highly of the cast or the crew! What a wonderful time for the whole family!

     What a different twist! I truly didn’t know what to expect from this version, but the actors made it an enjoyable evening. Love the talent on the stage! Looking forward to the rest of the season.

   Wonderful take on a Holiday classic!! The cast was fantastic, loved their portrayals, and the directors should be proud of another great PLT performance!

   The amount of talent was incredible! We saw the matinee and was just blown away by not only the perfect pair to play Paul and Annie, but the sheriff had a smaller but great death scene! He’s a natural for sure. The set was just as amazing, and I can’t say enough about all the hard work that these ppl have put into this production. Definitely will be back and will be getting season tickets.

   Loved. It. Hands down one of my favorites!! Eva KILlED it as Anne Wilkes!

 Misery was great! Unlike Eric Gray I am not a fan of Stephen King movies, but this kept my husband and me focused through the entire play. The acting was stupendous, especially Eva Martin's constantly changing from nice to devious. She was outstanding in her interpretation of an obsessed demented number one fan. PLT plays have shown real quality in the play selection, staging, and acting. We look forward to more top notch shows. Thank you. Regina Craig

   Fantastic show. The entire family enjoyed it. The lady who played Annie had us giggling all throughout the show.

     Another great play. A little slow between scenes but otherwise you couldn't put together a better cast if you had your pick from Hollywood. I highly recommend there be an encore performance.

   I absolutely loved the performance. Very entertaining. The reason for only 4 stars was the language that was used at times. It did not add to the show at all and I feel it really took away from the performance. I feel like it was only put in for its shock value.

   I think the profanity was a too much.

   Excellent production. The actors were fantastic!

     The venue was beautiful but the road out to it was nasty and then to have to drive it after dark was not fun and to top ot off a sobriety check point greeted us as we left. I would rather it be held in the city or some Place closer.

   I loved every second of this musical!! The cast and crew were amazing!!

   Footloose was very entertaining. Everyone did a marvelous job! We were amazed at the quality of singing, dancing and acting. This was quite an accomplishment for everyone involved. Thank you. We look forward to more productions in the future.

   Enjoyed it very much!! All actors were tremendous and had obviously put in an immense amount of volunteered practice time!! The absence of individual mikes and back feed speakers was somewhat evident must understandable with a small venue. I’m sure everyone is looking forward to more upgrades and acceptable plays to show off the talent our Appalachian community has!! Nice job all!!!

  I had a wonderful time at this show. Choreography and singing was really nice.

   Singers and actors did a nice job, but it was hard to hear. "I Need a Hero" and the first two songs of the 2nd act, where a mic was used, were good, and could usually hear the preacher and his wife, and the funny guy. Background and chorus singing got lost, dialog under music was lost. The second act had more energy than the first.

   Greatly enjoyed the show! Very talented group. We are lucky to have people that take the time to give our community great entertainment
