 The room was warm and stuffy. no ventalation. The spot light in the corner of the room was very bright and irratating to the eyes.

 Great little venue.

 Roberta Vinkhuyzen was riveting as a middle-aged psychiatrist with increasing dementia. The clever script provided a lot of insight into this challenge of life. What I love about Limelight is that it always gives us thought provoking plays, well-acted.

 The play was outstanding!

 We always enjoy the performances we attend. The volunteer staff is always so welcoming and manage the venues very well. Sadly, the Limelight Theater is so small it is not a comfortable place to relax and enjoy visiting while waiting for the show to start or to sit in while watching the great talent being displayed. The chairs are uncomfortable and tightly packed in. However, we will continue to attend because of the quality and creativity of the talent and chosen producti

 Beautiful theatre! First time there and was impressed with the seating - no heads to have to look around. The orchestra was a bonus. The play was heavy, thought provoking, and beautifully played by each actor.

 We did not know what to expect. We were moved to tears especially since we have close relatives who have suffered in similar situations. The performances were very strong, especially the male lead who was amazing. The children were adorable, so earnest and enthusiastic. We would recommend putting more distance between the orchestra and the lower rows of seats. We were in F1F2 and at times it was difficult to hear the actors speak above the music being played just in front.

 It’s not always the actorsalone They are excellent. Also need to give credit to those behind the scene. They make the show run smoothly.

 I thoroughly enjoyed the play and thought it was timely. Many of us have experienced, are experiencing, or know someone who is experiencing the sadness of dementia. The actors, especially Roberta, did an excellent job with a demanding script. Thank you for a meaningful evening at the theater.

 A truly memorable experience start to finish. A real WOW to have such an emotionally moving production within such a simple space with minimal props. A gem of a cast. I’d watch it again and again.

 We very much enjoyed The Other Place. The talent was outstanding and the message about an extremely sensitive subject was delivered so skillfully and with obvious caring.

 The acting was very good, the play was excellent The small size of the hall made the whole experience very pleasant and made the audience feel closer to the actors..

 The show was very good. The seating…. Chairs very close to each other. Very difficult to see steps in the dark. No place to set down anything. My water was on the floor. Space very tight, had to leave seats and go down steps in dark so people could get to their seats. So dark before show could not read the program.

 I liked the musical very much and thought the actors were delightful. The sets left much to be desired, however. I did not think the main set captured the feel of the mansion. More could have been done with just painting in details and bringing in old junk from garage sales (as the play points out. Also, other than wheeling in a stretcher, no effort was made to change the set for the funeral home scenes, so they did not evoke the creepy sense of death they should have.

 Sight lines could have been improved in a few cases, for example, putting Alison in the center behind small and medium Alisons would have helped all to be readily seen. Sst pieces moving quickly in and out helped the play move quickly along. The play was thought provoking and we talked about it all the way back to Santa Clara. Good job to all!

 Interesting story -- very sad, but delivered well!

 Not sure I would have liked it even on Broadway, but it was clearly too challenging for a local production. Painfully off key. Highlight was the professional woodwind in the orchestra.

 The content was difficult to watch. Had there been an intermission I probably would have left, despite the subject being very well presented. I have no criticism of the actors' performances. Theatrical presentation, as usual, was well done. The content was not "My cup of tea". I have gay friends, but I don't go to their parties. I've been to my niece's lesbian marriage. It was about a young person's exploration and acceptance and an older person's inability to

 Excellent! Such talented kids and wonderful show.

 Performers did well! One scene where where stage was full of performers it was hard to follow who was talking. Lots of movement from all parts of stage made it distracting to follow main characters. In those cases maybe a spot light might be helpful or a clear motion form the main character to draw our eyes back on them.

 Amazing acting by all the actors. We enjoyed it thoroughly. The acting was at par with any big city theatre group and each actor played their part so well.

 I knew Soozie Shireman would give an incredible performance as Kimberly Levaco because I have performed with her, but what I did not expect were the excellent performances of her cast members: Alex Grimm, Andy Kline, Keith Larson and Sindu Singh. Everything about this show is top notch: The story, the superb direction by Allie Bailey, the smooth flow of the show, a great set, music selection and graphic projections and a thrust stage drawing the audience into the story.

 A nice play except for the language. In the future maybe disclose. I will be rethinking my attendance. It wasn't necessary. I brought a guest who was very offended.

 Didn't think it was very funny or interesting. The family was TOO dysfunctional to be believable. Actors did a great job , just didn't think much of the script. Perhaps it was too dated -- for example, the check washing scheme and landline phone were too far in the past.

 Outstanding performance!

 The Prom is an outstanding play. The performance at SVCT is filled with outstanding actors, singers, dancers, carrying out a plot underscoring the need for good and compassion in the world. Well-done!

 The auditorium was extremely cold. I think maybe we were seated right under the a/c vent. Such a fun play and the cast did a great job. A suggestion check the sound. We were in the 2nd row, and sometimes it was hard to understand/hear. The back up people sometimes were louder than the lead. " Trent" ...was difficult to hear for most lines. Dee Dee was very enjoyable and what a voice! Kudos to all actors, singers and dancers.

 It was our first time attending. The theatre is charming and the show was a laugh riot. Karen (Sarah Birdsall) was terrific. I hope she is in additional shows.

 A very funny play to watch. A great escape from the daily news. Laughed for two hours. So much fun!

 Actors did a very good job, but the script was not up to their talents. Not exactly sure what I would change, but it wasn't very clever or interesting. Some patrons left at intermission - they didn't want to invest more time in a lackluster performance. Again, it wasn't the talent - the talent was wasted on a trite, boring, childish, sophomoric script. So much great talent wasted on this event!

 We loved the table and chairs seating. The play was incredible. It was fun to be able to bring snacks, appetizers and sandwich bites.

 The set was well done. I liked the cross room interaction. The actors were so good they made me laugh and cry.

 The actors were fantastic, very emotionally intense as the story developed. Fun to have the interaction and entertainment prior to the play. The new Limelight Theatre venue was a bit tight with the sold-out audience. The toilets would probably be better with an outside sink to lessen a line waiting. Overall, we are so fortunate to have great theatre in our community!

 Beyond impressed with the performances.

 Fantastic! The Limelight theater was perfect venue for this very personal performance. Due to excellent acting at every facet, the audience was drawn into each character's emotions...so enjoyable, heartbreaking, fun and witty. The cast and supporting crew did a phenomenal job.

 loved everything; the room/set was done very well in a small area not normally made for a play; the pre-show was cute and good talent; the main actors were fabulous; thoroughly enjoyed watching their "love" grow, you very much "felt" their angst with Jack going overseas, and then his return - everyone should be proud!!!

 The show was great The beginning music was way too loud The singers were great The light in the back was shining in our face I think it would be more comfortable to have 2 less tables.

 The he play was fabulously written, and the production was well done for the tiny space. They two actors were riveting in their performance. Highly recommend!
