 The intent for the event is awesome for the kids but the program is not organized at all…..long pauses, etc.

 It was extremely hard to get a hold of anyone or get any information. Students had a very hard time getting accurate information for requirements and times as well as simple things such as being notified they were nominated. It was very disorganized and chaotic to be part of.

 The Floyd County Honors was a great experience. There could've been some better direction with arrival for presenters and non-honorees - or a separate entrance for them. The event ran longer than expected - a formal timeline ahead of time would be appreciated, as well as confirmation of who is presenting what award. We appreciate you doing this for our community, it is a blessing that compares to none other.

 The production was first class. It seemed you guys had been doing kind of event for years. Very professional. Very up-lifting. Not only were the athletes honored, but a nod was given to their coaches, schools, staff, and families. Though the program got a bit of a late start, once the gears started grinding, there was very little dead time. Again, I applaud your efforts and the quality of the production and the enthusiasm exhibited by all.

 People's choice was tacky in its execution. Charging $1/vote and not having the website up and running til barely 24hours before the event needs improvement. Athlete photos were disorganized and the last few weeks gives the impression that this event was perhaps a bit overreach for the capacity of the production. The idea is stellar. Execution needs improvement. I understand it is the first of its kind here, but communication needed improvement with coaches and athletes.

 Tonight wax an extraordinary evening honoring our student athletes. Frank Byers is a visionary who worked to put this together. Rome City Auditorium was packed.

 Awesome idea - coaches and school personnel are willing to help with the event, ask us and we will show up! Great event and great turnout. Awesome thing to celebrate our student athletes.

 I love the idea of the whole event, and how you honor the Lord with the whole time. Still working out the timing of awards and the recording of names. Sometimes it can be tough to watch.

 The event was too long with a lot of content not focused on the kids. The lip sync videos and worship performance really took the spotlight off the kids specifically. It would be nice to showcase local high school talent instead of highlighting adults. It would be much more effective to present in blocks as changing presenters slowed down the event tremendously. The lighting and production value were top notch, but the event itself was disorganized and lacked consistency.

 I would love to put 5 stars. It was an amazing night that created a special memory for our youth in Rome/Floyd Co. However,

 Nice to be nominated but show started late with much dead time and tech difficulties. I was told the judging would be by blind committee and go by stats. The winner in my daughter’s category has never had stats or a bio like my daughter’s, was never named Region Player of the Year, and isn’t signed to play in college. That throws into question the validity of the whole program.

 Such a great event for the Rome Floyd County community! I Loved the positive and uplifting music and program and most of all praying over these kids! Keep up the good work!

 It was AMAZING to see our Rome and Floyd County student athletes and scholars recognized and celebrated in such a special event. Thank you so much Frank for ALL of your time and dedication to detail. I also loved the worship song, it was a nice bonus:)

 This is a great event to highlight the youth in the local schools. I enjoyed every moment of it.

 This would keep the award winners and audience engaged and provide for an overall better experience.

 Great event with lots of promise! It seemed like the young man who won the scholar athlete award was not qualified and actually had a bio that read more like the community impact award for volunteering. That was odd. Red carpet was cool idea but hard for parents to see behind the wolf statue. Music was amazing but felt a little out of place for an award ceremony where you don't know the faith of the audience. Need to communicate more event details via Facebook.

 It was a wonderful and very professionally produced event. It was a very special night for our son!
