About Bryan Corbett 

 

Bryan Corbett is one of the UK's most accomplished and versatile jazz trumpeters, renowned for his distinctive sound, expressive improvisation, and engaging stage presence. A recipient of the prestigious Jerwood Rising Star Award, Bryan has built an international reputation as a performer, composer, arranger, and bandleader. 

 

Throughout his career, he has performed and recorded with a wide range of celebrated artists, including The Brand New Heavies, Beverley Knight, Mica Paris, Ben E. King, Tony Christie, Alesha Dixon, and Us3. His performances have taken him to some of the world's most iconic venues, including the Royal Albert Hall, Sydney Opera House, and Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club. 

 

Equally at home in jazz, funk, soul, and contemporary music, Bryan is admired for combining technical brilliance with warmth, lyricism, and a deep respect for the jazz tradition. In this intimate trio setting, he returns to the music that has most influenced his playing, exploring the classic Blue Note repertoire and the cool, sophisticated sound world of Miles Davis.
