A concert by the Sutton Coldfield Chamber Choir at Emmanuel Church Wylde Green in aid of the national charity Fight for Sight. The concert is taking place during the Creative Health project in Birmingham. The choir, soloists and all musicians are giving their services free of charge with a target of raising £3000 to support the work of this charity. Richard Mason, a long-established choral director in Sutton Coldfield, conducts Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle. Don’t worry it is not short and certainly not solemn! Ashley Wagner also plays an organ transcription of Rossini’s famous William Tell Overture on the magnificent organ at Emmanuel.
