EVERY DAY HURTS 40TH ANNIVERSARY TOUR

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of their best known hit ‘Every Day Hurts’, Sad Café are back for their first show in the Midlands in many years.

After the sad loss of their irreplaceable lead vocalist Paul Young (also from Mike and the Mechanics), a new era dawned for the band, regarded by many as one of the best live bands of the 1970s and 80s, with a show which brings together the great hits of the past with the matured musicianship and vocal sound of the present.

Original members Ian Wilson, bassist Des Tong and drummer Dave Irving are joined by long time associate, singer/songwriter Sue Quin, the exciting vocal talent of Barry James Thomas and lead guitarist Dave Day along with multi-instrumentalist Neil Shaw-Hulme and keyboard player Matt Steele to once again perform their catalogue of great songs including My Oh My, Strange Little Girl, Nothing Left Toulouse and I’m in Love Again along with the big U.S. hits La-Di-Da and Run Home Girl.
