BENefit Gig is an annual youth music event inspired by Ben Sambrook from Aldridge who died in 2014 aged 14.
It gives young musicians opportunities to perform in a professional setting, teaches event management and marketing to young promoters and raises money for Brain Tumour Support.
It has been held for 6 years in Aldridge, but due to popular demand, it has had to move to bigger premises, so we are proud to welcome BENefit Gig to the Town Hall! It is to be held close to what would have been Ben’s 21st Birthday in Brain Tumour Awareness Month.
So far the event has raised over £10,000 and has encouraged many young people into music and production. Applications are now open for young bands (aged 22 and under) contact Julie at the Town Hall for details!
