Loved the show, certainly kept me guessing and characters very good, well rehearsed and certainly a very polished production.

Fantastic production. Loved the whole thing. Laughed all the way through.

A great night out with friends. Funny and entertaining. Impressed again with the acting and staging.

Excellent show. Well acted, highly entertaining

What an awesome show!! All the actors were so great and very convincing! Very funny performances from all involved.

entertaining night with a great cast.

What a great show! It was all one would hope for in a comedy drama. You felt the suspense, recognised the uniqueness of each character, brilliantly portrayed and acted, laughed out loud to the quirky and bizarre... altogether a wonderful show and great night bout. Well done!

 Great performance, great actors/actresses, superb

Brilliantly directed, the cast took the audience with them on a frantic journey around the Boddy Mansion, searching for clues and finding dead bodies. Sound effects were excellent, adding to the mayhem. The Butler deserves a special mention for his outstanding and hilarious monologue in Act 2. Wonderful entertainment! Thank you!

Really enjoyed yesterday’s fun performance. Was most impressed with the acting , the set designs and the humour. Can’t wait for more productions. Great work Waihi Drama Society

 Brilliant performance. Funny and engaging.

First time attending an event. Very well put together, quite a laugh, look forward to another.

 Enjoyable escape

fantastic movie, great NZ dark humour

Great movie. Enjoyed the show. Well worth the trip

absolutely the best way to see a film like this...the crowd just makes it betterer

 Absolutely fantastic!

I was not expecting a mine magician. I enjoyed his Act by my autistic friend found this very difficult to understand as expressions are not something he is good at reading!

Thank you SO MUCH for making this so important NZ movie available to us in Waihi - thought wld have to travel to see o/wise - enthralled throughout. Had wondered how this whole 16-yr history cld be decently wrapped into a drama; well they sure nailed it. JMB

The movie was excellent. Unfortunately a couple of people decided to use their cell phones during the film. One person I asked to stop using their phone, did. The other person continued. How selfish some people have become. After the film, this was brought to the attention of the organisers.

Thanks for all the effort you went to with organising the movie night and displays in the entrance foyer. We appreciated being able to see a recent and very relevant Kiwi movie in Waihi.

Such a moving experience- grateful being able to see this amazing movie in Waihi instead of having to travel to Thames. Such respect for two incredibly talented women; honouring and remembering the 29 men who lost their lives - R.I.P peacefully within the mine - forever your resting place… PikeRiver…

It was a very moving and thought provoking movie. All New Zealanders should see it. So glad it was brought to our small mining town

 Funny and clever story lines.

Fantastic performance ....the French English was impeccable and loved the play's slapstick humour and zanyness Congratulations to all involved !!

 Very good performance by most

Hilarious show - sets, actors and adaptation considerably better than expected. Extremely well done all round.

Absolutely hilarious !! Well done to the whole company .We are blessed to have such a talented group in our town

Enjoyed it. It was fun and well done. Edith’s acting a standout

 Lots of fun and laughter

" Allo Alllo" was done so well. We enjoyed the performance, and all the cast members did their accents well.

 Good show

Very funny. Well delivered. Hair and make-up done to perfection.

Loved the play! The actors have worked so hard to make their characters believable. Some very good character choices. Renee and Herr Flick. But all were incredible. Thank you

The Theatre group out-did themselves! With big shoes to fill with such a well known comedy, the actors really did the play justice, they did really well with their acting of their characters and maintaining their accents throughout. Fantastic performance!

Very funny! Wonderful charcters … don’t miss it!

Fantastic! My husband and I absolutely loved it! What an awesome bunch of actors and actresses. We will definitely come back to see more shows.

Pat, Mark & Ashley Scott. Dawn & George Strickland, Coralie & Lynn, Jo-Anne Cates. We had a great time at the show. We thought it was extremely funny and all the cast members were so talented and professional. Probably the best show we've seen so far. We'll done everyone.

Thoroughly enjoyable evening. There’s even more laughs to milk out of this script.

Appreciated the discount on tickets. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help out.

Been loving what Waihi Drama does for 12 years.

The play was so well cast & directed , so well performed , and so well set with a full interesting stage of props . It was an incredible show with youth theatre actors certainly showing amazing talent . The play was engrossing and very “telling” if trauma effects … The heat of the audience area was a bit much . So glad of a 15 min break and plenty of cooled water available

Absolutely brilliants. Well cast. Poignant and evoked deep emotions. Extremely well directed!

An excellent production from the set to the acting and directing. A must see!!

It was so good. Loved it

Great show and good job 👏

 Fantastic Show

 What an absolute knockout!

Brilliant, so funny, so professionally done by everyone. Everyone contributed to the show and all gave 100%. Just loved it. I must also admit the audience got in right behind the actors which was so rewarding for them. Well done to all.

Brilliant, such a fun show with a history lesson. Well done to everyone involved. Excellent A++++

One of my favourite shows to date. Tracey Carter was exceptional in her role as Kate Sheppard. Very well directed and delivered by a very talented cast.

Wow wow wow! A brilliant lively performance, Absolutely Stella performance you should be also proud

A fabulous Show! My other half does not like musicals....he loved it. The characters were fun, whilst being angry, therefore very skilled, it was a stage full of colour & talent. We were a captive audience, we laughed, sang along and shed some tears. we love you Kate xx Well done everyone at the Waihi Drama Society.

Was impressed by the actors who were faultless in executing their lines. The singing was well done and in the whole l enjoyed the performance. Being elderly though some of it was rather loud fir me and I have to say t that my enjoyment was diminished by an audience member in close vicinity to me wearing a very large amount of a very heady perfume which was very unpleasant in a confined space

A wonderful show that was so professionally presented we could have been in New York! It was two hours of education and entertainment. Well done Waihi Drama. 👏

Friends and I were very happy we had gotten together and attended the show . The talent hard work and effectiveness of the people involved was so noticeable . The set up right from walking into the lobby , greeting , foyer display and cast bio pics , to the stage set and costuming were superb . The cast and crew did a stunning performance and job . Cheers

Thank you so much for bringing pike river to waihi . Hope we can do more special movies events

 Awesome

What a fantastic show! Well cast and excellent music. It was very interesting to find out about Kate Sheppard's journey and her fight for the rights of women.

Some well sung solos saved what i thought was a crass and stupid play

Brilliant! This one has it all great music, great humour and great talent. A must see

Great enthusiastic show and that's from one of the last paid up, card carrying chauvinist.

This show is next level!! The characters, the costumes, the music, the set; all outstanding! What a triumph for a very talented director and cast. I want to watch it all over again!

A great night - really good cast, lots of laughter and music , thoroughly enjoyable.

Intense, vibrant and vital performance. Brilliant and meaningful.

Absolutely fabulous. A strong play with a great actor. Cassandra Woodhouse, I would see again in any performance.

We found Prime Facie fascinating, traumatic, brilliantly acted!

John's embodiment and expression of the many characters he portayed was astonishing. He wove his intercultural tale in disciplined dance and powerful voice bringing our history and cultures alive in a way I have not experienced before. For me it was profound.

Excellent play! It was a shame it wasn't more widely promoted with the schools in the area to get a bigger audience, as it was fantastic for the kids.

Very well done, excellent voice, interesting about serious topics.

Good effort for 1 man show

An excellent production. Chris Green gave an outstanding performance

 Fun show

Absolutely blown away by the talent portrayed on stage last night from the entire cast. Congratulations ladies, Edwin and crew for yet another hugely successful show, well done.
