THE HARBOR LIGHTS ELVIS FESTIVAL - FEB 16th, 17th, 18th (Launch Show 15th)
THE CONTEST
Our contest is an official preliminary round for 'Images of the King' and our Grand Champion will progress and compete during Elvis week in the 'Images of the King' World championships which take place in Elvis's home town of Memphis, Tennessee. Four judges - Terri Futreal, Alan Wilson, Lamount Cruz and JoAnn Cruz will score all ETAs from a 'clean slate' each day and the criteria they will score to is as follows:
- Appearance 20% (Costume fit, accessories, authenticity, facial characteristics, hairstyle, looks like Elvis)
- Performance 30% (Moves, gestures, mannerisms, audience reaction, charisma, delivery, performs like Elvis)
- Vocals 50% (Rhythm, timing, phrasing, range, on key, memorisation, sounds like Elvis)
For the 2024 contest we will kick off with 30 ETAs on day one, this will reduce down to 20 for the semi-final on day two and once again a grand final will take place featuring 8 ETAs all battling it out for an amazing prize package consisting of...
- Auto qualification for IOTK World Championship
- Harbor Lights 2024 Champion Trophy
- Paid Showcase at HL2025
- Flights and accommodation for winner and a guest to Memphis for Elvis week 2024
- Tour of Graceland (including planes)

In addition to the Pro contest (details above) we are running a combined youth (16 and Under) and Non Pro contest - Winners to receive cash prizes and also perform a 'mini-showcase' with the band
THE VENUE
2024 will see Harbor Lights take place at the stunning Winter Gardens in Weston super Mare, a beautiful setting for a memorable weekend, many options for accommodation as this is a seaside town, lots of hotels, guest houses, B&B's and self catering places too, if you need any help please contact us.
