Hemet Theatre Reviews

 The event didn't start on time. My tickets were for a 6:00 pm show. Staff mentioned the show starts at 7 when we arrived at 5:45. They said it was a "ticket mistake". An email as soon as this discrepancy was realized would have been appreciated. The show started around 7:15. I understand the band was ON TIME and had done their sound check. No mention or apology was announced to ticket holders or the band.

 First time there & was impressed with everything!

 The check in was fast and easy , staff and crew polite and friendly, the venue was warm, cozy and clean

 Good value, nice intimate setting.

 What an amazing night! Amazing Shawdow Cast for Rocky, attentive and caring staff, memorable New Years countdown to The Time Warp, all combined for a night I will NEVER forget. Thank you, Historic Hemet Theatre!!!

 Everyone was so fun friendly, we can’t wait to go to another performance/event!!

 Very nice. But for the ladies room was very tiny. And it would be a five star if the venue would have start on time.. I agree!

 Well I paid for the best seats in the house only to have some stand right in front of me blocking my view. It’s one thing to get up and dance, it’s another to buy the cheap rear seats then walk up to the front and get a better view than the people that actually PAID for it. Solution? Create an area only near the stage and/or off to the sides for dancing

 The staff is wonderful!! Kathy and Bruce made our night so much fun!

 My wife & I had so much fun at the Monkee Mania show! It was our first visit to the Hemet Theater. Such a great place & ticket prices were very reasonable, too. Lots of folks having a great time & the dance floor was full! We will be back again real soon!

 The group was amazing.

 The event was a lot of fun and the acting was great. I’d definitely go back to see another show and I loved the interactive aspect of it. Great job!!!

 It was fun , not too crazy (in a good way) the production value was so so , could have done a better job at costuming to match the movie . the casting of the characters was lacking , as compared to the movie. However the energy of the actors was great , and given that they were all volunteers /non professionals , it's hard to criticize. The audience interaction at the end was cool , doing the "Time Warp" again and the virgin spanking. Will go again . PS: no rice?

 The Rocky Horror Picture Show was fantastic I wasn't expecting it to be that great a play and a movie at the same time couldn't be better

 So cool! Great actors! Awesome crowd!

 These Songs brought back good memories, Some brought tears to my eyes, Its been a Long time Since I heard any of Sir Elton Johns Songs, Great Tribute band,

 it was quite enjoyable but for one thing. The sound system volume was set way too high. Most songs were unrecognizable until I plugged my ears with tissue. After that, I was able to hear the individual musicians and voices. They were obviously talented musicians, but the extreme volume worked to hide that fact.

 Everyone at the theater was very friendly. My first experience coming to the theater… the band was absolutely fabulous. Very uplifting music very much. Enjoyed myself…I will be back while we are staying in Hemet for 3 months. PJK

 Above and beyond my expectations. The cast was great, the energy was amazing, it was the perfect NYE. Would definitely do it again next year.

 The shadow cast for this year's Rocky Horror was the best I've ever seen! Amazing show interrupted by the very slight technical difficulties that in no way lessened the experience due to the expertise and emotional wherewithal of this beyond excellent performers!!!

 The band was fantastic. I feel the Theatre wasted my time with their Pre-show Michael Buble' video, raffle at intermission and "History of the Theatre" video. The event started 1 hour and 15 minutes late! The volunteer ushers dancing in the aisle during the performance and "checking" raffle prizes was disrespectful to the band and viewing audience. Felt like a "look at me" call for attention. I don't plan to attend another event at this venue.

 The music and tribute to Michael Buble Christmas by Scott Keough was fun. However, the mis advertisement of the event start should not have happened. Advertised as a 6 pm start and it started at 7pm

 It was a great performance all around kept the audience engaged. I felt very safe at the venue My mom who is 81 really enjoy the show and my sister came out from upland California and thought it was the best show she's ever seen.

 Scott is remarkable. A great talent and an amazing entertainer. We really enjoyed the show.

 Loved Scot Keo, very talented singer. Sounds just like Michael Bublé. Every one volunteering was so welcoming and helpful. Truly enjoyed our time there. Our first time at this theatre.

 Excellent tribute to Zepplin. The singer's sound was a little off at first. But improved. We will see them again.

 My grandchildren loved it. People who worked at theater was really wonderful. So kind to my grandchildren.

 EJ and his three singers were great. The band was wonderful, a group of very professional musicians that EJ personally selected for his concert. The crowd was very engaged and this was something a little unique for Hemet.

 He was an excellent performer. Didn’t appreciate how late the show started.

 Very enjoyable evening! Hope to see more events in the future. The theater itself is a beautiful venue.

 I loved it. I liked the way the singer went through the history of Neil's career!! His voice was very good and he sang so many of Neill's hits!! I would come again to see him!! I was actually able to hear him sing without the music drowning him out!!

 I had excited a live back up band so was disappointed and I understand the Neil Diamond tribute person was called in "last minute" and probably did the best he could.

 Apparently, the performer was a last-minute substitution. And a spirit of the show must go on. He tried his best. He was very informed in the biographical information about Neil Diamond that he supplied between songs. In fact, that was probably the best part of the performance. His singing Style was fair, but not nearly a dead ringer of diamond. His back up track was very poor, sometimes the backup singers were off, and he was not in sync with the backup.

 My wife and I were initially sad that the original "Neil Diamond" singer was unable to sing. But we appreciate that the HHT folks were able to get a replacement at the last minute. We truly enjoyed ourselves and we continue to support the HHT.

 This tribute was wonderful and they not only sounded lke the real thing but liked like the real Stones

 It was a fun night, and the band was worth seeing.

 Our first time here in Hemet and decided to check out the Venue. Great music, great venue and a fun staff! We will be back in the future!

 Music was great once sound was adjusted-was able to hear singer well

 Three KISS songs were played by the groups and I tough it was a KISS celebration not a sugar fix personal concert. I believe a had high expectations when clearly the concert look like a personal party from people who organized it

 Very fun and friendly staff!, comfortable seating and a great time! we had a fun and enjoyable night!

 Seeing classic movies that are not shown at other theaters was so exciting. My whole family loved the experience and we will definitely be back for the vintage reels

 It was awesome to see one of my favorite movies on the screen. Adding The dates for the other movies after each trailer would have been good.

 Excellent screen, fun vendors and great introduction. Looking forward to the next in the series.

 Joanne & I enjoyed the AZ/DZ Tribute concert. The music was terrific, not loud like the good old days, and the musician played Angus Young, great impersonation.

 Excellent venue and music rocked! AZDZ was incredible! Thank you for bringing them to Hemet and please bring them back again!

 Same as 2024: It was fabulous. The group was amazingly authentic. Fantastic Talent. Only regret for the season is that the equally authentic and talented "Queen Nation" will not be at HHH!

 I had never been to the Hemet Theater before, what a great venue. The band was very good and the atmosphere was great. Staff was very friendly. I will be back.

 Concert was great, but our seats sucked ! I thought Hemet theatre was doing remodeling our seats were so bad my friend almost spilled her drink sitting down fell back as no support at all!!!

 it was fun. Music got me up dancing (good exercise!).

 Tonight was simply amazing! I danced my butt off and had a great time.

 Brent Payne and his band were wonderful. All the band members did a great job! I especially liked the girl on the fiddle. Brent was very good with the audience. I had a real good time.

 We thought the show was fantastic. Love to see them return. I bought tickets on line, turns out the seats did not exist, an usher showed us to some seats across the isle then two people walked up and the same usher said we were in the wrong seats and moved us farther from the isle. I bought my tickets because they were on the isle., someone needs to review the seating, the sound both took away rows and some of those seats show up on line as available.

 It was a great show! I really liked seeing the Kingston Trio. The theater did not handle wheelchairs well. My husband was blockaded in by walkers in the back of the theater. Seems there could have been a better spot for either the walkers or people who are wheelchair bound.

 The Kingston Trio were fantastic. I did not give 5 stars because your audiovisual support was amateurish, and I was ashamed for the theater given this professional group. You had two continually shaking spotlights, which you switched back and forth between the bass player and the trio. It distracted from the performance. Second, starting the Apollo 11 Armstrong tape in the first half of the program was again pure amateur. No excuse, even for a volunteer group.

 Love the show. First time at the theater. I’ll be back. They played all the songs I expected and a few more. Fun

 The Kingston Trio was excellent and more than I had expected. I love the ruffle which allows the theater to raise money and the 50/50. I think it is a unique way to raise money to keep the theater going.

 I enjoyed the event. Have been a fan of the Trio since 1959. Learned a lot of history last night. Also wanted to comment on the venue. What an improvement! Really liked the ability to select my seats instead of a chaos of the pass. Already planning for the next event. Thanks!

 The event was okay, but there was a group singing. The rudeness of leaving and not staying to listen to others was disappointing, especially when they were singing musicals with very long songs. People stayed and listened to them.
