Folloween 2026 - Myths & Legends
Join us from October 23rd - 25th for our signature event, Folloween! Sin City loves nothing more than a good party, so we're turning the whole weekend into one big bash - complete with classes, live music, our annual costume contest, and more!
The Kirby Galbraith Big Band
That's right, for our Saturday night social dance at Grey Witch, we'll be dancing the night away to the musical stylings of 16 phenomenal musicians - The Kirby Galbraith Big Band! Kirby and his crew will keep us on our feet from 8:00 PM all the way until the witching hour.
Friday Night Classes & Social
8:00 PM - 9:00 PM: The Mama's Stew
Dancing in costume can be difficult, so we'll be taking a break from our progressive series, and Kristine Hansen will be teaching us the Mama's Stew! This is an iconic yet simple line dance created by Lindy icon Louise "Mama Lou" Parks that swing dance communities all around the world know. Get in on the fun with us, and when you hear the song later in the evening, you'll be prepared to show off and throw down with everyone else!
8:30 PM - 9:00 PM: Beginner Drop-In
We will still have our regular beginner drop-in class from 8:30 PM - 9:00 PM for anyone joining us for the very first time!
Friday Night Costume Contest
In keeping with tradition, we will be holding our Folloween Costume Contest during our Friday night social at Jordance Studios! Any costume is fair game, just keep it appropriate for dancing and culturally respectful. You must be present to win.

Mummified Mix & Match
We're putting a spooky, follow-focused twist on this year's competition, but have no fear - this competition is free to enter! In our Mummy Mix & Match, Leads will be given a mark on the floor that they must stay as close to as possible, while leading their partner in a fun dance. Follows, on the other hand, will be blindfolded. That's right, blindfolded. Follows will be showcasing their creativity and ability to truly follow!
Prelims will be in a tap-out format, meaning couples will be tapped on the shoulder and asked to leave the floor when they've been eliminated. We'll have two rounds to dance and rotate partners before judges begin tapping out couples in sets of 3. We'll rotate partners after every 3 tap outs, until we get down to our final 3.
Finals will be an all-skate format. Follows will be allowed to remove their blindfolds, and Leads will not be confined to a specific spot on the floor. - a true throwdown to determine the final placements. Lindy Hop and Charleston only - no Balboa or Shag.

- Note: Our Saturday night social is only for folks over the age of 21. We apologize that our friends under 21 won't be able to join us for the main event, however, there is a reduced ticket price for those individuals that does not include the Saturday night social.
